So yesterday I was driving and a Tesla and a Motorbike came speeding up behind me ( really fast ) I was doing about 50mph. When they had the space they both overtook me and a few other cars together . I was going to join them but I decided to hang back because I would have smoked them both and didn't want to embarrass them. . ( 😗😎 lol )
Seriously though, The acceleration on the Tesla and the Bike is impressive. They were moving in perfect sync and vanished within a few seconds .
I was going to join in but as I say, I didn't want to show them up .. 😅😛

A male bee mates for less than 5 seconds in midair. The ejaculation is so explosive you can hear it pop from a few feet away. His body rips in half. He falls dead before hitting the ground. And he is one of the lucky males in the hive.
When a male bee, called a drone, chases down a queen mid-flight at speeds of 22 miles per hour, his entire reproductive organ turns inside out. The pressure required for this comes from nearly all the blood in his body, which rushes downward to force the organ outward like a spring. The semen fires into the queen with so much force it makes the audible pop. The organ then snaps off and stays lodged inside her like a cork. As he flips backward off her body, his abdomen rips open. The next drone waiting his turn has to physically yank out the dead male's cork before he can mate. The same thing then happens to him.
The queen does this 12 to 20 times in a single afternoon. She flies up to a spot in the sky that beekeepers call a drone congregation area. Picture an invisible meeting point about 50 to 130 feet above the ground where up to 11,000 male bees from as many as 240 different hives are hovering, waiting for her. These spots stay in the exact same locations year after year, sometimes for over a decade. No one fully understands how brand new drones, born only weeks earlier, find them.
By the end of her mating run, the queen has collected around 100 million sperm cells. She keeps only 5 to 6 million in a tiny internal storage organ that keeps them alive for years. From that supply, she uses just two sperm cells per egg for the rest of her life, laying up to 2,000 eggs a day for 2 to 7 years. After that one afternoon in the sky, she will never mate again.
A 2019 study from UC Riverside, the University of Copenhagen, and the University of Western Australia found that bee semen contains toxic proteins that temporarily blind the queen by interfering with how vision genes function in her brain. If she can't see well, she can't fly out again to mate with more males. Their semen also carries a separate protein that attacks and kills sperm cells from rival drones still inside her. The males keep competing long after every one of them is dead.
The 99.9% of drones who never get to mate have it worse. As autumn arrives, the female worker bees in the hive stop feeding their brothers, then drag them out of the entrance after biting off their wings. The drones can't fly back in. They starve or freeze in the grass within days. The colony raises a fresh batch of disposable males the next spring, and the whole cycle starts over.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”
This passage is heavily associated with the idea of mass confusion and inability to distinguish truth from falsehood.
The key ideas are:
1. “Signs and lying wonders”
This refers to deceptive displays of power or miracles that appear convincing outwardly but are used to mislead people spiritually or morally.
The emphasis is not merely on fake tricks, but on:
- persuasive appearances,
- emotionally compelling narratives,

- and false systems presented as truth.
2. “Because they received not the love of the truth”
This is the central condition in the passage.
The text suggests the deception succeeds because people:
- prefer comforting lies,
- reject correction,
- cling to worldly desires,
- or refuse truth when it challenges them.
In many theological interpretations, “love of the truth” means more than intellectual knowledge — it means willingness to align oneself with truth even when difficult.
3. “God shall send them strong delusion”
This phrase has been interpreted several ways across Christian traditions:
Common interpretation:
God permits people to become consumed by the deception they willingly embraced.
Meaning:
- persistent rejection of truth hardens the heart,
- discernment becomes impaired,
- falsehood begins to appear true,
- and truth begins to appear false.
It is often viewed less as arbitrary punishment and more as a consequence of continually choosing deception.
4. “That they should believe a lie”
The “lie” is usually understood broadly as:
- false worship,
- false authority,
- counterfeit salvation,
- corrupted morality,
- or systems opposed to divine truth.
Different traditions apply this differently:
- spiritual apostasy,
- political deception,
- false religion,
- corrupt economic systems,
- personality cults,
- or end-times world systems.
The overall message of the passage is fundamentally about discernment:
- not being carried away by appearances,
- testing claims carefully,

Very good example of the lies anti-Western activists love to tell:
The claim that Britain only paid off slavery compensation in 2015 is false — and the person who spread it has admitted it.
The claim that "British taxpayers were paying off slavery compensation until 2015" went viral in 2018 when the UK National Debt Management Office tweeted it. It was retracted almost immediately because it was wrong. The 1835 government loan used to pay slave owner compensation was fully redeemed in 1938. What continued beyond that were small residual government consolidated bonds — routine Victorian-era debt instruments bundled together with hundreds of other government expenditures from the same period, including the Napoleonic Wars and Irish Famine relief. This lie spread because it was emotionally compelling. It was not true.
Yes, slavery compensation was paid to the owners because that was the only way to achieve abolition. And yes, abolition was the result of campaigning and technological changes but it nonetheless represents a unique achievement of the West: everywhere else, including the Far East, the Middle East and Africa slavery continued for decades, if not centuries, and into the present time.
Note how, as usual, anti-Western narratives deliberately fail to engage in a fair comparison with OTHER empires and civilisations in the world and their conduct during the same time period.
I refuse to hold our civilisation to a fake, utopian standard of perfection while letting everyone else off the hook.

Konstantin, you asked a Black woman where she'd rather live than Britain or America or Canada. Let's take Britain as your example of tolerant, slavery-ending Western excellence. Britain did not end slavery voluntarily. Britain ended the Atlantic slave trade in 1807 after decades of organized abolitionist pressure, slave rebellions across the Caribbean, most consequentially Haiti in 1791, and the growing calculation that wage labor was becoming more economically efficient than chattel slavery in certain contexts. When Britain "abolished" slavery in its colonies in 1833, it paid £20 million in compensation. Not to the enslaved. To the enslavers. The people who had been worked and beaten and raped and bred like livestock for generations received nothing. Their enslavers received the equivalent of £17 billion in today's money, funded by British taxpayers. A debt so large that British citizens were still paying it off in 2015. You read that correctly. British taxpayers were paying off the debt incurred compensating slave owners until 2015. So when you ask a Black woman where she would rather live, the answer she gives, if she says Britain, is not an endorsement of British moral superiority. It is a statement about which available option causes her the least harm. Those are not the same thing. And you know the difference. You just find it more comfortable not to say it.
