5 shots as well. She was so calm following her into the room before grabbing the gun. That was 100% planned, and her calm demeanor after is beyond unsettling. The husband also seems very calm despite his wife just being killed in the next room by his mother, but perhaps it was just shock. Apparently, the mother was extremely jealous and accused Carolina of "stealing" her son. She killed her because she viewed her as competition. They had a child together too who is being carried by the husband in the video. She killed her own grandchild's mother while they were in the next room. That child will have lifelong trauma now. What a terrible situation. If your mother-in-law is obsessed with your husband and he's not doing anything about it, and you're not able to set clear boundaries, run.

Society expects you to have a quick, cinematic breakdown, cry it out over the weekend, and bounce back to being productive by Monday. ​The exact second they realize your depression isn't just a temporary mood swing but a constant struggle, the "take all the time you need" energy completely vanishes. ​They stop checking in and start treating your mental state like a deliberate character flaw. You aren't struggling anymore; you are just "not trying hard enough" or "choosing to be miserable."
