Senior Defense Achievement: Naysa G. & Kaiya M. A massive congratulations to seniors Naysa G. and Kaiya M. for their outstanding performance during their senior defense presentations. While the Graduate Portfolio and Defense is a rigorous graduation requirement designed to showcase skills beyond standardized testing, these two went above and beyond. Not only were they the first to sign up and present, but they both passed with distinction—the highest honor possible, marking them as the best in their class. As AEM seniors, they met the challenge of producing a documentary on a social topic. Naysa explored the critical intersection of Sports and Mental Health, while Kaiya examined The Depictions of Women in Media: Its Effect. Both students used this platform to reflect on their learning and prepare for their future careers in film and production. They started on this project just about a year ago. The official window for senior defense presentations begins on April 27th. Good luck to the rest of the senior class as they prepare to share their stories and showcase their work.

On Friday Muir baseball extended its winning streak to seven games with a 6-2 victory over Hoover, improving to 10-6 overall and 4-6 in conference play. While five wins during the stretch have come against struggling opponents, the Mustangs have used the run to sharpen execution and build momentum. A two-game series against 2-18 Glendale beginning Tuesday presents an opportunity to extend the streak to nine and bring Muir back to .500 in the Pacific League. =======
