Really enjoying the "Doctors & Writers" podcast from @The1stReporter and @adi_kumar1
Particularly love the anecdote Adi shared in one episode (paraphrased):
An author and a neurosurgeon were at a dinner and the neurosurgeon says, "When I retire I'm going to start writing."
To which the author turned and replied, "When I retire I'm going to start doing neurosurgery."
A great illustration of how writing is a skill that needs developed like any other.

Simple lesson in starting a business:
It’s not hard to find people that need your products or services, but it is hard to attract those people towards what you have to sell.
Anyone can do the former, but only a few can do the latter.
It’s no secret which of the two approaches is better suited for success.

@tobi_emonts Meditation, no screens an hour before bed, and a few minutes of journaling always works like a charm.

If you’ve caught yourself in a loop of planning over executing, just remind yourself of this quote by Curtis Grant:
"Having the world’s best idea will do you no good unless you act on it. People who want milk shouldn’t sit on a stool in the middle of the field in hopes that a cow will back up to them."

@itsmickeypatel @adi_kumar1 Perfectly put Mickey.
It’s such a massive bottleneck for everyone, but the best way to figure it out is to just stop overthinking and start creating.

This old cliche! I'll admit it's one that I thought about a lot, trying to think of doing something no one else is doing.
Little did I know that the thing that resonates most is my journey and sharing the things I've overcome.
It's so easy to think our stories and perspectives are not of high quality, but when they're relatable, they're memorable, and this is where it's been easy to spot both internal and external signals.

Constantly searching for your niche is a distraction.
The best way to find it is to write consistently, make mistakes, and look for the overlap between what interests you and what your reader wants to know more about.
In today's podcast, @adi_kumar1 and I discussed how we found our niches and how you can stand out in a sea of noise.
