@TimSweeneyEpic Is there any way for an American company to buy out the shares Tencent owns in @EpicGames? Given the myriad of human rights violations in China, it pains me that most game developers using @UnrealEngine are inadvertently funding human trafficking.

@Skunkmonkey1243 @Heccles94 I might add: the robot army comes complete with protection of the master's family from the army of starving plebs with pitchforks and AR-15s

We can live without AI. We can't live without healthcare. We can live without blackrock. We can't live without housing. We can live without Palantir. We cannot live without food and water. We can live without war. We cannot live without each other. It's all political choice.

@HunLepto @Wise_Heathen @MrPitbull07 Follow up: Clinically depressed people don't often kill themselves. They don't have the energy. These people are too low energy to brush their teeth or comb their hair, let alone jump off a building. Many people don't actually want to die: they want life to stop being shit.

@The7thCrest @Wise_Heathen @MrPitbull07 Anyone who actually wants to kill themselves would do it without other people being able to stop them. It's not a hard task to get on top of a tall building or something like that and find a spot where everyone would be too slow to stop it.

Mr PitBull Stories
Mr PitBull Stories@MrPitbull07·
He refuses to work because he says he was born without his consent and the internet cannot decide if he is a genius or delusional. A 21 year old man has sparked a massive online debate after publicly stating that he refuses to work because he was born without his consent. His argument is straightforward: since he never asked to be brought into the world, his parents are obligated to support him financially for as long as he needs. He claims that forcing someone to work for a life they did not choose is fundamentally unfair and that the responsibility lies entirely with the people who made the decision to have him. The statement has drawn millions of reactions across social media, with people sharply divided over whether his reasoning is absurd or uncomfortably logical. Critics have called him immature, entitled, and a symbol of everything wrong with younger generations. They argue that personal responsibility begins at adulthood regardless of the circumstances of birth. Supporters, however, see his words as a philosophical critique of modern work culture and the expectations placed on people who had no say in their own existence. Some have connected his stance to antinatalism, a philosophical position that questions whether bringing new life into the world is morally justifiable. One sentence from a 21 year old just forced the entire internet to debate the meaning of responsibility, choice, and what we actually owe each other.

@HunLepto @Wise_Heathen @MrPitbull07 Correct. But most people that say "I want to kill myself" don't actually want to commit suicide. They are expressing a deep desire to cease existing b/c the suffering in their life is unbearable and they want it to stop, & 2 exhausted to write a paragraph to explain that.

@Dea_rMen Fun fact - men who look like this are generally otherwise useless. Unable to perform simple labour like chopping wood. We know this, because we have hired people who look like this, and they didn't last very long. Some didn't last a day.

@lady_valor_07 I would agree. But really we need to get rid of tipping entirely, it's just an excuse to not pay servers a fair wage.

@Flowers_MilcahM @drmicheleross @Kekius_Sage If people really wants these people to embrace getting jobs and working hard, a lot of trust building is necessary. Through genuine community building. And actual help and support with Healthcare, Education, Training and Employment. Employee is a dirty word b/c it means: slave.

@Flowers_MilcahM @drmicheleross @Kekius_Sage The reason young people: young men in particular are so stagnant right now is that we have lost trust in our leaders. Why would they contribute to a system actively hostile to themselves? In history, this resulted in armed rebellion. But no one is lining up to fight the USMC.

STUDY: The majority of Gen Z are open to marrying AI. 75% of gen Z think AI bots can replace human partnerships. 83% of Gen Z believe they could have a “meaningful connection” with an AI bot.

@salmukaimy @Matt_Pinner I personally don't mind bikinis. But I really do not like oversexualization in western culture. Frankly: I'd be in favor of nudism if our culture wasn't so sexual. Bodies are natural, but emphasizing sexual features around kids is weird, so I think bikinis == a NO on public beach

@Carlwinnnns @GOV_OTP_BTP_FTP @honeymoon250 This is a valid scientific hypothesis that has some evidence for it but has not been definitively proven. But any competent biochemist, chemist, and/or physicist can prove to you that abiogenesis (life from non-life) is logically and evidentially coherent, tho not proven.

@honeymoon250 Because humans didn't evolve from monkeys. That was a strawman that apologists created. Humans evolved from a common ancestor to moneys. Simply open an genetics and evolution textbook and stop listening to what biased people tell you. G

@Flowers_MilcahM @drmicheleross @Kekius_Sage Frankly, my take is that we need a big island and just need to ship everyone with this perspective over there. Let them live off the land if they can. We really need a sanctioned IRL PvP server. People should be able to choose to opt-out of society.

@Flowers_MilcahM @drmicheleross @Kekius_Sage All I have to say about this kid is: he has it right. No one asked to be born. Society demands a lot from us. What he is missing is this: no one asked to be born, and refusing to work hurts everyone. However, young people are giving up b/c Modern Jobs are Largely Exploitative

@Matt_Pinner Its not appropriate for any woman in any age to perform in this attire on stage. If the only thing you see wrong is her age .. you are discriminating against age not talking from moral principle!
