@Goreandwhoring A lot of people missed out on Dead Aim because its light gun elements but its got a solid story and sound track I wish Bruce and Fong Ling would return. But that would never happen 😆

Has anyone else in the Halloween fandom noticing a change in discourse regarding the Blumhouse Trilogy? I have noticed a shift in how they are being regarded and people not liking the movies. Its almost been a decade since the trilogy released. In these 8 years, have your feelings on the trilogy changed? Have the movies lost their quality to you or are they still around the same as your first viewing?

@HouseOfHorrorCo Hellbound is still one of the scariest movies I have ever watched. Though Freddy's Revenge is an entertaining movie it lacks the body count and unique dream kills that the series would be known for. I'm gonna have to say Hellbound on this one.

For those who enjoy the #Halloween 2 timeline here is what happens to Jimmy in the comics. Its kind of sad to see what became of him and no he is not Jamie's dad.

I hope for the next Halloween project Michael Myers goes back to a clean mask. Similar to Halloween, 4,6, H20 and Resurrection. Though the aged or weathered mask worked for the movies they were in. I would like to go back to the more clean look for Michael the next time around. How would you like Michael to look in the next project?

Keep this shit off. I saw the Resident Evil Requiem and that was enough for me. Resident Evil games have their own art style. Their characters look good and I know the hard working development team at Capcom did not work their ass off to get to where they are now on one of the greatest franchises in world for you to smear some A.i. filter that looks like trash over it.

I love the idea of Jason returning and would love to see a newer unstoppable Jason. I personally like the idea of them allowing Pamela to be a character for a little bit. As far as the Jason drowning or not, if they dont wanna fully spell it out and give fans an opportunity to interrupt it how every they'd wish would be cool. I personally fall in the camp of people who thinks he never died until Friday The 13th The Final Chapter. In my personal head canon I think to think that Jason didn't drown but he was able to come ashore but didn't go back to the camp out of fear. Maybe all the lights and sirens from the police looking for him scared him and being a mentally challenged child he didn't know how to get home. So he learned the wilderness, stole things in town and was probably seen and scolded for his appearance through the 60s and 70s which led him to wearing a mask. I assume he took refuge in an abandoned cabin before having to temporarily relocate when Steve Cristy showed up and then witnessed what his mom did before seeing her get decapitated on the beach resulting in him following Alice to her appartment to get his revenge on her. But that's just my personal head canon take.

@The80sSlasher @CraftyAdrian360 @BAINSUCKZ In the long run, fans 100% want a new, unstobale, grotesque part 7-esk Jason who tears through teenagers a-la David Bruckner / Nick Antosca's 2015 script. I wish they'd just polish that up and make it.

@wompstompfilms @CraftyAdrian360 @BAINSUCKZ Wasn't it covered in a novel that Jason didn't drown and he was afraid to go back. That the town knew Jason was out there and stealing stuff. Could be remembering it wrong but I feel like that was a story in one of the novels and I hope they do something like that.

@CraftyAdrian360 @BAINSUCKZ Some say, Jason never drowned. And if he didn't, where did he go? What was life like before Jason drowned? Why was no one arrested for negligence? Why did it take the Christies so long to reopen the Camp? Where did Crazy Ralph get his nickname?

Excluding the laser room. They didn't really add the cut stuff in Separate Ways. For example everyone says they added the U3 boss fight back but it wasn't, they gave one of the henchmen his final stage and called it a day which isn't as interesting as the hanging cage section from the original. Just my opinion.

@BeAfraid_Movies @The80sSlasher @JenniesAccount Here’s my take they didn’t cut as much as people think from 4 remake. Most of the stuff that they cut from Leon they put it in separate ways so it’s still there just distributed differently.

@The80sSlasher @JenniesAccount I'm with you on the drawbacks of 4 remake even though it's my favorite, They didn't cut that much but the stuff they did cut was so memorable in the original and I was just looking forward to seeing it reimagined.

Oh yeah its definitely about personal preference because at the end of the day they both tell the same story. You get the same story beats and the only thing that is really changed is the route of how they get from point A to B but its still the same outcome. I loved Resident Evil 4 Remake, but Resident Evil 4 was one of my most played games growing up. I do miss the cheese and a few other things but Resident Evil 4 Remake is done so well it stands alone as it's own remake. Lol I know its a nit pick but I am also not huge on the way the Merchant sounds compared to the way he does in the original.

@The80sSlasher @BeAfraid_Movies @JenniesAccount simultaneously trying to modernize and homogenize it with the rest of the RE Engine games, which creates a big change. And for me, it's a good thing, because it's still the best version of RE4, but being so different in this way, it can coexist without replacing it

There is a whole list of cuts from the original but a few that I wanna highlight that personally frustrates me is they took out all the cheese of the castle. The trap room where the ceiling falls gone, the statue chase gone. Thats just some of the things taken out. Personally I was disappointed that they removed both the Mine Thrower and the PRL-412. Both guns I liked in the original. The remake was good don't get me wrong, love it but it does have a lot of tonely shifts and missing elements that make it not as good presentation wise to the original RE4.

@The80sSlasher @BeAfraid_Movies @JenniesAccount I respect your opinion and it seems logical to me, but regarding the decisions made about RE4R, I don't agree. Most of the cuts aren't even noticeable because they're replaced by things that better suit the tone of the remake, which isn't the same. But it's just a personal opinio
