Not for nothing, the media pile (particularly the NBC Sports family with Golf Channel) on this Bryson DeChambeau story is disappointing. If you're going to show me Rory McIlroy taking shots at Bryson, you should show me Max Homa saying that the penalty wasn't right. That's called objective and balanced coverage There is a clear attempt by the media to tilt this story to fit their needs. Their needs? A villain.

@TheBackPage "I've played golf and broken 80 twice" is possibly the least qualifying statement you could make for this situation. If that is your resume, it is almost certain both of your "break 80" rounds there were multiple tournament rules broken that you aren't even aware of.

Bryson DeChambeau got screwed. This is where golf loses the average sports fan. I've played the game (broken 80 twice) and this to me is very subjective. I'm not even a "Bryson guy" and I think he got hosed by the Royal R&A. Hope he plays tomorrow and uses this as motivation. youtu.be/25cHQFiR3MM

Let me say this. This is a bad look by CNN tonight in not taking the President’s speech live. It is baked into the cake that he is often times stretching the truth or just flat out lying. You could fact check him when the speech is over. You should be airing the address live.

But here’s the thing my man… Being the face of sports radio is the equivalent to being the captain of the titanic. And I say that as somebody that spent 25 years in Radio and most of that in sports radio. I love and miss that industry terribly. But it’s a sinking ship as a whole.
