This weekend was gut-wrenching for Chang and I. Our beloved pooch, Duky, passed away in our arms at the age of 15 after a very recent cancer diagnosis. Today, on SportsWrap, I remembered him in the only way I could. Hug your pets extra tight tonight. We don't have them forever

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are valued at $6.6 billion and yet they "eliminate the position of the social media person? Are we being serious here? Especially a talented social media leader? That's a hell of an indictment on that organization. Penny-pinching much?

My position with the @Buccaneers was eliminated last week. I’m forever grateful for the memories made over eight seasons, from building the Bucs’ social media nearly from scratch to seeing it blossom over the years with hard work and sacrifice. Thank you to the co-workers who had me laughing on a daily basis and the players/coaches/staff who made me feel like family. Coach Bowles’ nickname for me, “Smiley,” was because of you all. It is more important now than ever to be adding social media marketers to your organization. It’s about more than being able to make a TikTok — it’s about knowing the brand inside and out, protecting it like a PR professional, building relationships, being trusted as the direct line of communication with the fans, reading the room & much more. Those skills are invaluable to your company and no longer a luxury but a necessity. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience throughout my 20s. Onward and upward! 🙏🏼🫶🏼

Eddie... I got news for you. I've been doing this shit for 30 years. Your tough guy doesn't matter to me. You can beat me up? Great. Wow, you're a tough guy. The mere fact you went the rout of insinuating that you'd commit violence against me for saying you acted like an idiot by calling fans "ugly" only proves my point further. It doesn't change the fact you were unprofessional. Do you know how many times I have had people say wildly inappropriate things to me while hosting shows in 30 years doing this? I would never have responded the way you did. You lower yourself to their level. Be a professional. It's as simple as that.

Also nothing wrong with pointing out that Scottie only gives a s#it about Scottie. And that’s fine. He is a guy that barely looks like he enjoys the sport. He collects his paycheck and goes home to his wife and children. It’s a job for him. Not a passion. That’s plain yo see.
