1. The gay community isn’t telling anyone they need to go out and be gay 2. The Christian community calls anyone who’s not Christian sinners and if you don’t believe in what they believe in you’re destined for an afterlife of hell. So which group again is the one pushing and forcing their beliefs onto others more? The LGBTQ community who says “accept us for who we are” or the Christian community who only thinks their way of life is proper?

@CoreyB08 Cool. No one is saying to be gay. But they ARE being forced to celebrate it. Which is where the problem lies. Being gay is an individual choice. Same as being straight. It doesn't need a parade. It doesn't need a month. They claim to want to be equal, so why the extras forced?

@Cratermaker12 @JazineG PQ games generally pull a single version of the character from a specific point in time. The older P3 cast for example met the P4 cast IRL, but PQ2 still just used their younger selves. They'd likely also just pick the earlier variant of each and that's settled

@TheMistakery @DynamoSuperX I'd say it's because Pratt himself ultimately doesn't have much vocal range. His performance becomes less of an "alternate interpretation of the character" to the point that his "characterization" ends up giving nothing at all

@DynamoSuperX I feel there could have been a better middle ground. Pratt’s performance is fine but I think given Mario’s characterization in the movie it would’ve been better to lean a bit more into optimistic whimsical Italian stereotype Mario than sarcastic grounded Brooklynite Mario.

Chris Pratt would never be my first choice for Mario but he's NOT entirely wrong. Nintendo wanted Mario to have a Brooklyn American in the movie just like he did in the animated show. That came FIRST. Mario didn't have the exaggerated Italian accent in the games until Mario 64.

They're like, ‘It's written as 'Mamma Mia.'’ But I'm like, if I'm expressing some reverence or some sense of, ‘Oh wow, Mamma Mia.’ But that's not something necessarily a person says unless they're doing the Italian accent. So it's always really hard to find how ‘Mamma Mia’ works… I've always tried to vary. @stockpiledclay I don't think anyone would mind a Zelda game with graphics similar to this. I just think most people would prefer it was made by people and not AI. That way we won't end up with Link having the hilt of his sword on the front of his body and the blade on his back. 😕
