@HotTakeAJ I understand that reading but that feels like projecting the meta baggage of how DC treat the character onto him. I think it's quite the opposite in universe. It takes a lot of pull Bruce away from Batman and Gotham and Nightwing is worth it.

@TheBat_Family No offense whatsoever, but that comes across more like, “how big of Bruce to lower himself to step in” as if he has to swallow his pride or something to show that respect.

Bruce being Nightwing is kinda silly but ultimately I like the fact it gives credence to Nightwing's importance and Bruce's respect for Dick's own legacy.

@HotTakeAJ That's kinda been out the window as an absolute line in the sand thing since the 90s. Dick was even a bit salty he wasn't asked to fill in despite the fact Bruce avoided it specifically for that seperation. Bruce coulda just stepped in as Batman but the city needs Nightwing
