The hawks need Trae’s half court creation and Jalen’s ability as a second creator. They BOTH need to be bought in on defense and they haven’t been.

The Hawks have lost 5 straight, including 0-4 on the homestand, and they are 2-9 in the last 11 overall. Schedule is (very) tough over the next week as well, with OKC, MIN, and 2 against NYK on tap. They are 15-17. Getting ugly in a hurry. Full breakdown to come on the pod.

Agreed that he makes our rebounding worse but the idea was that as Trae and Jalen share some usage, Jalen’s defense should improve, but it has taken a dip the wrong way

We no longer have NAW and Dyson out front on defense. We lost 1 game we should have won while he was out. We have lost 5 we should have won since he got back
