The geographic midpoint of the Big 12 conference is near Marshall, Oklahoma. The only major cities closer than Kansas City are Oklahoma City and Dallas. Both have hosted the tournament before, and the general consensus is that Kansas City was still superior. It's the spot.

Arizona fans aren’t allowed to suggest moving the tournament to Vegas until they actually bring some fans to KC and experience why it’s such a fantastic location for the tournament.

@Shaggy_Bets @DaneMiller_SWS Geographically Dallas makes the most sense. Kansas City is incredible but nthe Midwest isn’t the most enticing place to visit in March. Don’t blame KU, KState or Iowa State for wanting KC, basically home court advantage. I wouldn’t give that up.

It’s 1,197 miles from the campus of Arizona. It’s the functional equivalent of the Big 12 hosting the tournament in Eloy, Arizona. Could you imagine that?
