He's right that, at some point in the future, we will be able to radically extend lifespans. However, we won't be able to achieve that goal using partial epigenetic reprogramming alone... and we won't get there in under 10 years. Partial epigentic reprogramming-related therapies are potentially game changing (being able to reset cells to a more youthful state). However, there is only one therapy in FDA trials at the moment that uses patial epigentic reprogramming (attempting to reset retinal ganglion cells to a younger state). All the other ones are in preclinical (ex., therapies to rejuvenate the liver and to rejuvenate parts of the brain). It will be a while before these types of therapies hit the market--if they work (though I think they will work). As important, partial reprogramming works to differing degrees in various cell types, and it doesn't work at all in mature red blood cells (no nucleus, no DNA). Also, there are risks related to cancer, turning too many cells into useless ISPCs (embryonic stem cells), and immune rejection. Numerous other therapies might rejuvenate human organs/organ systems, but most of them are in preclinical (apart from a therapy by RetroBio for autophagy; it's in Phase 1). --> 10 years away at least... On the plus side, we might be entering a golden age for cancer therapies right now.

Darren Woodson was really the first hybrid safety in the NFL. Jimmy Johnson used him not only as a safety but as a slot corner on third downs. Cowboys recognized his unique skill set to create a position on defense for Woodson nobody else was capable of playing at the time. Imagine having the physicality and range to play safety and speed and quickness to play corner on the most important downs.
