Bringing this back because its needed:/ I want to remind ppl again that despite how unfairly the doc was posted towards the ppl involved. That indeed, rping with minors, sexual scenarios, no matter how "safely" planned and conducted it was, then that falls into grooming

@coraloomf @BugInALabcoatVA You’re a minor yourself, so I’m gonna end with this: The responses coming out in support of Marcy are textbook responses to grooming and cult-of-personality-following. Marcy’s in position of power and sending a team of still-underage kids to fight their battles speaks on its own.

@coraloomf @BugInALabcoatVA There’s not a way to “exaggerate” an adult engaging in unsafe behavior to and around minors, especially ones as young as fourteen (the age of the original doc’s author) and double especially when said minors are still underage AND fans of the creations made by said adult

@3xtal big agree !! but also, the thing is that the og writer of the document said that it was very exaggerated and that the people marcy were chatting were 2 years older at the very most (which is...lowkey still bad...16 and 18 is still weird esp in THAT context imo)

@Jossywooo @3xtal The initial wave of defense for marcy was nearly all minors as well, which is troubling in and of itself, paired with Marcy’s “I lied in the screenshots” reposts on tiktok while these kids defended them instead of addressing the allegations themselves— I don’t have high hopes

@3xtal @TheBluestPoet The situation being handled “privately” puts me on edge. This situation is genuinely serious and I don’t think there will ever be a proper way to handle a situation like this “privately”. I don’t want anyone to feel silenced or scared and I hope that isn’t the case.
