In high school, I tore my ACL playing soccer and was on crutches for 6 months...and got attacked by a loser while sitting out gym class.
School had a stupid rule about how, in any physical fight, both parties had to be punished equally.
When I pointed out that...obviously...the kid on crutches did not start the fight, the Vice Principal scoffed and asked me why I was daring the Question Authority.
School bureaucracy radicalizes many conservatives because its so obviously stupid, actively harmful, and punishing to the victim.

Ok so there’s another X war going on. @ExUmbrisDesigns is a great dude and makes great kit. I have a war belt in my truck that he made, and it’s excellent. @Rebels_Raiders is also a great dude, and I have his Apothecary bag in my shop, because he has reached out to us at @refugemedical several times to inquire about manufacturing capacity to produce his products. This has never been made public, and I don’t know if he wants it public now, but here goes. The conversation with Rebels Raiders has always revolved around balancing high quality product builds, and affordability for the common man. We haven’t been able to produce anything for him because at this point in time our sew shops are backlogged with our own products. We do however have a refill kit of med components for the Apothecary bag at Refuge; because while we manufacture everything in America, I genuinely believe Rebels Raiders has the best interest of his customers at heart. As for Braxton McCoy (@?) I don’t know the man, and I have nothing to say either way. I try not to speak about someone’s motivations until we’ve at least had a convo, preferably over a whisky or two. Having spoken with Rebels Raiders, I know his ambition is to one day be able to produce products stateside, but in the meanwhile he uses a very good sew shop in Vietnam (I’ve inspected the product), a Vietnamese sew shop just like almost every other kit manufacturer, including monstrous brands that no one dares affront. While we at Refuge will always strive to produce the best American-made first aid kits on planet Earth, I respect what Rebels Raiders is doing, and how he is navigating the insane entrepreneurial landscape of 2025. Imma keep rocking my @ExUmbrisDesigns war belt though, and all my SOE Kit; that Apothecary bag is good shit though, and puts capability in the hands of folks that would otherwise be priced out of the market. Can’t knock that. Bear Out 🐻😘🫡

I know libertarians and others are upset about this and I understand the post GWOT knee-jerk reactions, but I see no reason why this can’t be done cooperatively and voluntarily all the way down. Plus, we need more titanium to build split-shot so my fishing trips are not disrupted.
