Chibi is the meme now. Psychologically, the reason why he is so successful in unmasking people is that most of these are virtue-signallers who stand on no principles. They see him as an easy target, but then end up projecting their own faults, causing their masks to slip off. Those with performative morality live in a house made of glass cards, and then get surprised when the rocks they throw end up destroying everything. Basically, these people overplay their hand because they think their target is an easy punching bag. Chibi ends up being far more resilient than expected, and the personal attacks end up like boomerangs that fly back to the attacker. Then the rest of the internet does the rest as they dig up what people are "really" about.
