Out of 52 weeks of 2020, Eastcastle Street was open for about 20. We had big plans, repainted the walls and the shop front, got a filter coffee machine, fresh planters outside, introduced brunch 🥓. Here's to hoping we will be able to enjoy it all soon. Hands up who's ready?

Today our two children went back to school for 2 days this week, then fill time next week. I am in the OG store setting up, taking deliveries & cleaning, cleaning, cleaning to be ready for takeaway from June 29th. Nervous, excitement, anticipation.

Time to check in again to see how Germany are doing since easing lockdown on 19 April. Remember easing has happened in stages & significant lags between infections & outcomes, esp. deaths. That said, given 5 weeks have elapsed, our Govt should now be able to draw some lessons.
