@SamuelWeeps Remember all the false companies that were set up during lockdown and claimed millions in furlough? Sunak decided not to prosecute any of them. Millions robbed from the British taxpayer never to be recovered.

I have a suspicion that hundreds of thousands of the Muslims claiming benefits….let’s call it what it really is…….”money for nothing paid for by British taxpayers” are actually driving taxis and Ubers….and not paying any tax….but also not accepting passengers who have a dog. It is extraordinary there has been no formal investigation of how this exposure was allowed to become so dangerous, who knew what and when about it in the Bank of England, the Treasury and Whitehall, precisely when Truss and Kwarteng were told about it, and what impact it had on the government funding crisis that was sparked by the mini budget. The impression has been created of an establishment cover up. This is deeply unhealthy for democracy

@sophielouisecc We have employed inmates from a local prison for over 30 years for wk exp. Last month I received a letter from a lawyer acting on behalf of one demanding that our company pay him furlough while he was unable to work during the pandemic. The prison closed, he was unavailable. Huh?

Being stuck in expensive rented accommodation for years is not a happy prospect, on top of ludicrously high student loans. Many older people are also leaving the workplace ?
