If you're watching The Open ... DeChambeau clearly trampled down the deep fescue to give himself a cleaner backswing/downswing. He deserves a 2-shot penalty. But now it appears he's threatening not to play tomorrow. This tournament will be just fine without him.

@Libre_Oposicion I don’t buy it effected anything. There were six defenders between that player and the goal when they got the ball. It didn’t “allow” them to score. They just got the ball and scored.

I have stabilized the footage to better see the ball's trajectory. You can clearly see it changing the flight path suddenly and going down quickly.
The ball touched the camera cable and fell onto an English team’s lap, allowing Bellingham’s goal against Norway.
FIFA claims no contact was recorded: “Connected Ball heartbeat sensor has no signal”.
Norway’s team has also reported this to the referee.
Technically this goal is hence incorrect?

So if the official doesn’t give the yellow card to Paredes initially and calls it a normal foul or no foul at all, then it doesn’t go to VAR and Embolo is still playing, yes?

For those that haven't followed this closely. CK was place in the vehicle in under a minute. The car ride was less than 10. Likely less than 5. So within 5 or 10 minutes Shapiro's security was getting real time updates from CK's security and that was relayed to Shapiro.
When they should've been working tirelessly to save his life.
Shapiro was not CK's friend. CK did not work for DW. While the rest of the world was just learning about a shot being fired somehow Shapiro has a direct line to the security team which just failed to secure their protectee?
This is weird beyond belief and I hope everyone will set their bias aside and really think about how this was even possible.

@FroemelAndy @KanekoaTheGreat I really don’t understand how people still think this. I have seen so many .30-06 rounds get stuck in a deers spine, fragment, have a tiny entry hole, and demolish the interior with no exit wound. It is not uncommon.

After reflecting on the Michael Block situation at the end of part 2, myself and the team at YGT want to apologize.
Our intention was to show the raw emotion of what the YGT means, and how badly the participants want to perform well.
Michael Block showed great leadership and brought a ton of team positivity, and we feel like that was highlighted throughout the entire video.
Ultimately, we made a mistake by leaving the last segment in the video. For that, we apologize to Michael Block and anyone who did not find the clip tasteful or necessary. We do not want to garnish attention through drama and controversy, but through high quality golf. We are thankful for everyone’s commitment and participation on the YGT and they deserve to be portrayed in a more positive light.
