This time, he had been delayed in visiting her and she hadn’t seen him for a while, so when she heard his voice from inside the car, she recognized him, and began to long for him and plead with him. He couldn’t bear it, so he got out of the car and started stroking her head and pampering her. Glory be to God, even animals have feelings, and they appreciate those who treat them kindly and with gentleness and affection!
