@BeReal_App We need to talk. During the school year, can we please make sure that BeReal notifications are only occurring before 7 am or after 4:30 pm? Teachers are on our last life out here, and I don't need another reason for a kid to pull out their phone.

I teach in Arkansas, and I am wondering why there isn't a PD on Arkansas Ideas about LGBTQ+ allyship/awareness for teachers. I feel like there should at least be an elective PD, but maybe it's just because it's Arkansas... Does anyone know if other states have this?

The internet line got cut down by the high school today somehow. I don't know how to monitor and adjust at this level of stress. Does anyone have any good last minute no internet lesson plans to share?

I slept for 12 hours on a school night, and I can't figure out how to function now.

@mjs4 8th graders are always weird, but because it was the 25th, they kept saying it was Christmas all day. By seventh period, I was like well then why aren't we on vacation!?

One of my students asked me today how many years I've been teaching, and when I told her this was my first year, she said wow like she was impressed. #fakeittilyoumakeit

I 10/10 recommend doing a weekly check-in with your students (in-person, blended, and virtual). I just read the "Do you have anything to tell me? This can be about school or life" question, and answers range from "im hungry" to "the secret to life is breathing." I love my kids 😂

Tomorrow is Day 4 of teaching blended. So far, Google Meet has not completely failed me. We'll see how long this lasts, especially with potential tornado weather on the way 🌪
