It's the same as when people who engage in adult content creation apply to be a religious clergy, a school teacher, a guidance counselor, a child therapist, or engage with child-adjacent content, etc. It's not just optics, but there is a moral conflict where the sales of explicit content + pretending/rebranding as something else becomes hypocritical/predatory at worst, and just weird at best... It's kinda like her profiting from catering to the exact impulses she publicly condemns, while she wants to be seen as a trusted, feminist-adjacent CC in a community that includes male fans tolerant of that dynamic, who are now being called "beta cucks".
