We Muslims find it so hard to admit this, but over the years, Christianity has quietly shown through its actions that their religion is truly one of peace. @19yma19 @Clarsonimus Correct. The warming and cooling periods are not caused by CO2. Their cause is still mysterious. Probably a combination of solar events and deep ocean currents. CO2 plays almost no role in regulating Earth’s temperature.

@19yma19 @Clarsonimus For the MWP, proxies in Greenland, Antarctica, China, Peru, South Africa and New Zealand all agree with each other. So extrapolating globally is pretty safe. I only know of one proxy in the western Pacific that indicated cool temps. We are safe to conclude the MWP was global.
