@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts The speed of warming is no different now than 150 yrs ago. You can see it in the tide gauge data. There is no hyperbolic increase, only a linear trend consistent for more than 150 years. No speedy warming detected.

@ClimateRetorts @TheCaz64 Ha, the old winners and losers eg Russia and new sea lanes. Indian might struggle. Australia has big problems with potential increasing marginal land. The basic issue is the speed of the change and any response will be slow and a shit fight. Who knows what will happen, cheers.

@TheCaz64 @ClimateRetorts Dear Both, I have written, with the help of an AI, a summarise some of the key agruments. It is shown below as an image to fit it on. I can share the AI link if you think that might be of interest. Not included Plimer. Hope it broadens your perspectives.

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus Modern temperature readings need to be viewed with skepticism. Much of it is altered to fit political narratives. See here the US record, raw data and altered data released for publication. Note the difference!! People are tampering with data to make it fit the warming scam.

@ClimateRetorts @TheCaz64 @Clarsonimus I agree +/- errors exist, Proxies still correlate well with modern measurement devices. So your point that natural variation explains modern trend is still difficult to maintain as the recent trends are 10-20 times faster than previous movements.

Climate Fun Facts: For the past seven thousand years, every millennium has been colder than the millennium preceding it. This is being driven by changes in solar irradiance due to variations in Earth's orbit. The Earth’s obliquity is now decreasing at its fastest rate in 40,000 years. Low obliquity boosts glacial periods.

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus If there was an acceleration in warming since the end of the little ice age due to anything except rebound, then why do tide gauges globally not pick up any change in melting since data sets began? They are all linear, not hyperbolic. Why?

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus Ross McKitrick showed that the reconstructions made by Michael Mann are fraudulent. Period. No further discussion of paleo reconstructions are allowed. They are simply wrong. Use single-proxy datasets, only. Using them shows no unusual modern warming.

@TheCaz64 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus I checked him out makes a good point about reliance on one tree for data. It is interesting that went reliance of one specific pine was removed the same trends emerged. It is good to be openly doubting, that is science, until evidence shows, and repeatidly by many not just one.

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus The time frames of the MWP and modern warm period are identical, when data is smoothed to account for the lack of thermometers before 1600.

@ClimateRetorts @TheCaz64 @Clarsonimus Your point is that natural warming periods existed, correct, and the tree observations, mostly local effects provide co2 not responsible for current temp rise. The time frames are different and this makes all the difference. Currently very much faster warmer than every seen.

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts The Vikings statement is completely false. The medieval warm period was global. Its signal is detected in South Africa, New Zealand, China, Peru, Antarctica, Europe and Greenland. AI got this completely wrong. Also several other points.

@19yma19 @ClimateRetorts @Clarsonimus These multi-proxy datasets are statistically fraudulent. You cannot paste a thermometer dataset onto tree ring data. It is mathematically illegitimate. See the publications of Ross McKitrick.

@mcgillmd921 Interesting you start it there. I would nominate the reign of Caracalla as the start of the crisis. He debased the currency, stirred up war with the Parthians, conducted massacres within the empire, and enlarged its expenses. The start of the crisis.

The Crisis of the 3rd Century. One of the darkest times in Roman history. For 50 years, the Roman Empire tore itself apart from the inside. Emperors lasted months. Armies picked their own rulers. Here's how it almost ended, and how Rome pulled itself back from the brink. 🧵

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

We Muslims find it so hard to admit this, but over the years, Christianity has quietly shown through its actions that their religion is truly one of peace. They build hospitals, schools, charities, and help people without making too much noise about it. Meanwhile, we Muslims keep shouting "Islam is the religion of peace" from every corner... but the results on the ground don't always match the slogan. Be honest with ourselves for once: Should we conclude that Christianity is actually the religion of peace? What do you think?

@19yma19 @Clarsonimus Correct. The warming and cooling periods are not caused by CO2. Their cause is still mysterious. Probably a combination of solar events and deep ocean currents. CO2 plays almost no role in regulating Earth’s temperature.

“…the intersection between trans rights & women’s rights, I don’t see great conflict there…” - Hugh de Krester, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission. With all due respect, sir, you should see “great conflict there”, as your organization is directly involved with TWO court cases regarding the conflict & admitted in Tickle v Giggle legal submissions that the outcome of the case will impact how your organization administers the law. So what I’m saying is: your sentence - and public position - is bullsh-t and frankly unacceptable for the president of the Australian Human Rights Commission. You can bang on all day about striving for equality for women, “transwomen” and “transmen”, but we’re going to need an actual plan to achieve that. At the moment, the AHRC’s plan has been to steamroll over women & lesbian rights to achieve “rights” for “transwomen”. We say no to that, hence the conflict you, somehow, don’t recognize. You’re not balancing rights, you’re stealing rights. To not understand this makes you ill equipped to do the job you currently have.

@19yma19 @Clarsonimus For the MWP, proxies in Greenland, Antarctica, China, Peru, South Africa and New Zealand all agree with each other. So extrapolating globally is pretty safe. I only know of one proxy in the western Pacific that indicated cool temps. We are safe to conclude the MWP was global.

@TheCaz64 @Clarsonimus The issue is the exprapolation of regional variation as a proxy for the world. Average temp for past 1000 - 10000 years is approx 13.5 +/- 0.5C. Hard to believe but that is what reconstructive measures show. The modern trend (last 150 years) have shown steady climb. Why?

@TheCaz64 @SteveStuWill I largely agree. We only have to read the plays and literature across the ages. Women need to be more selective. But that is a different statement to this: “The problem is lack of high quality men.”
