I thought for years, more so recently, that as Labour (as they historically do - check) improve the economy and standards of living, the miserable and ignorant bigots among us would complain less and stop blaming immigration for their fucked up lies.
And now chaos reigns. FFS.

The @Conservatives’ Alternative King’s Speech claimed the welfare bill is higher than income tax receipts “for the first time ever”.
We’ve heard this a few times recently, but it’s not true. Welfare spending (including pensions) has been higher for years.
