Needs of youth experiencing homelessness can be quite distinct from those of adults. The Y’s @TheChangeBaker was in Sacramento today to support AB 2520, which highlights the need for specialized responses in the homelessness service system to better support young people.

Happy to report AB 2520 passed out of committee 9-0! The bill would take the necessary steps of requiring continuums of care to have youth specific coordinated entry systems. Thanks to David Baker and Kim Lewis for Youth for testifying in support.
