IIHF refs must be completely unaware of Abbey Murphy. She's drawn 4 penalties. Certainly a fast and physical player, but also perhaps the most noted diver / embellisher in women's hockey. Not surprising to see Canada taking penalties though considering how fast this USA team is.

Well, it looks like the Federal government gave up on its commitment to halve development charges. In fact, the entire section on housing devotes more time to Indigenous Housing issues and Public housing than anything for the middle class. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Look, many of the challenges are provincial and I get that. And if I sensed the plan on housing was to pressure provincial governments, I’d get it. But between Robertson’s words to date, appointments etc, I think it’s safe to say that the federal government’s secret housing message is that middle class homeownership is dead.

The Charge brought the issue up more than a year ago with the City, but chose to negotiate behind the scenes as a sign of good faith. Sutcliffe is full of it and is disingenuous at best in trying to push through his precious project.

Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe spent the majority of his time with Scheer trying to discredit her comments and suggest the team can move to CTC. I'll provide a more objective scope tomorrow, but my personal take is it wasn't good faith communication from the Mayor.

I reached out to the office of Ottawa mayor Mark Sutcliffe regarding rising concerns over reduced capacity in future plans for the Ottawa Charge's arena, and also about some of the inaccuracies in his recent statements about the Charge and arena plans. No reply. @ottawacity
