BREAKING NEWS: Starmer’s amazing speech
Sir Keir Starmer smashed it out of the park today with a barnstorming speech which astonished critics and colleagues alike.
Speaking without notes and cheered on by his cabinet colleagues he gave a passionate defence of Labour’s record. Even the hard- nosed press corps assembled in Downing Street burst into spontaneous applause at the end. Meanwhile cheering crowds poured onto the streets of Red Wall constituencies waving union jacks pledging support for the PM.
Just kidding of course.
Th reality? Starmer’s speech was the same old reheated, vapid drivel we’ve heard a hundred times before, delivered with his usual lack of charisma and with contents about as inviting as a week old litter tray.
"I am fighting for them. We are fighting for them. I am their Prime Minister, and this is their government."
Sir Keir Starmer says he's spent too much time talking about what he's doing for working people, and not enough about why or who he stands for.

The polls are clear, only Plaid Cymru can stop Reform today.
Choose hope, ambition, and new leadership for Wales over Reform’s chaos.
Vote Plaid Cymru.
No matter what they say, Reform UK will only let down the working class.
They voted against our better deal for workers. With your support, we got it done.
Only Labour will work for working people.
Vote Labour 🌹
Zack Polanski saw five kicks to a tasered man's head. Instead of performing outrage for cameras, he's doing the harder thing: taking it to the Met Commissioner directly. Social media wants spectacle. Zack wants accountability. That's not weakness — that's maturity. #bbclaurak
Keir Starmer's former chief of staff Morgan McSweeney: 'The appointment of Mandelson as ambassador was a serious error of judgement. I advised the prime minister in support of that appointment, and I was wrong to do so'

🚨ABSOLUTE SCENES IN PARLIAMENT!!
Far-left Independent MP Zarah Sultana says Keir Starmer is "gaslighting the nation" and a "BARE FACED LIAR".
She is ordered to leave and she REFUSES, so is *immediately* suspended from the house.
Lindsay Hoyle LOSES IT! 👀
🚨BREAKING: Keir Starmer breaks silence on the Peter Mandelson vetting row, saying he is 'absolutely furious' and insisting neither he nor any minister was told Mandelson had failed security vetting, calling it 'unforgivable'.

@FedupMad@ToriesWales@Plaid_Cymru You e just agreed with the posters post, then changed direction mid way through your paragraph.
You sound like a politician.
No, this is a distortion. Plaid Cymru did not "prop up” Welsh Labour for decades.
Most of what you’ve listed were short term, issue based agreements in a parliament designed to work without single party control. The only full coalition was 2007-2011.
Everything else was time limited cooperation to secure specific policies, something normal in any democratic legislature.
Supporting individual budgets or policies isn’t the same as propping up a government. It’s called getting results. Pretending otherwise just oversimplifies how the Senedd works.
After 27 years of Labour, 1 in 5 people are stuck on waiting lists. This isn’t acceptable.
To tackle Labour’s long waiting lists, Plaid Cymru will rollout 10 surgical hubs across Wales to get you seen faster.
Vote Plaid Cymru on 7 May for new leadership for Wales.
@Plaid_Cymru You don't offer new leadership, you've propped Welsh Labour for decades👇🏼
🔴Pre-2007 ad-hoc support to Labour's Minority Governments (1999-2007)
🔴One Wales Coalition (2007-2011)
🔴2016 Compact Agreement (2016-2017)
🔴2021-2024 Co-operation Agreement
🔴2026 Budget Deal
@Plaid_Cymru@RhunapIorwerth Plaid playing the blame game, they fail to tell you they have been proping up Welsh Labour for years and are as much to blame as them.
While other parties talk Wales down - Plaid Cymru believes in the future of Wales.
Plaid Cymru is the only party that stands up for Wales. 🏴
Dim ond Plaid Cymru sy’n rhoi ein cymunedau’n gyntaf. ❤️
