@HACKETTREF Thank God you're not refereeing anymore. VAR couldn't intervene because it wasn't a clear and obvious error as they were both grappling with each other. Hence why the referee also couldn't give a penalty in the first place as both were commiting a foul.

I am trying to understand why West Ham United were not awarded a penalty kick when Bowen was wrestled to the ground by his opponent. The referee should have seen the offence. VAR should have intervened it was a clear penalty kick

@FanHubHatter Didn’t even use VAR. 1st goal ball went out of play, 2nd clear handball, 3rd dived and got a FK None of which were checked by VAR. but a possible penalty for Newcastle was checked for absolutely no reason. What a surprise, hecky criticises refs and we get shafted. So corrupt
