Design shrinks when you start filtering ideas against what's currently allowed. Drew a new pattern at work. The team said partners won't like it. Kept pushing on it. Months later it's showing up in prototypes. The job isn't just what you ship. It's what you make possible.

@joshpuckett What excites me most, we're entering a point in time where we can build tools that fit our vision, instead of reshaping our vision to fit the tools we have.

been messing around with node-based UIs. Decide to built a sprite generator to see if I could. describe a character, pick some actions, hit run, you get an animated sprite sheet.

been thinking about how much health data sits locked in Apple's ecosystem. built a little iOS app last night that syncs my HealthKit metrics to my home server in the background. resting HR, HRV, sleep, blood pressure. Now I can use the data however I like.

@kwonlabs started with keyword rules, didn't like constantly maintaining them. now an agent watches what i actually read, learns from that instead. It's more proactive with suggestions and aligns to what I'm actually interested in. Well that is the hope. Still testing.

@TheCsiz feedly's pricing drove a lot of people to build their own. how are you handling the "what actually matters" part — keyword rules or something learned?

Why pay for Feedly when you can build your own? Built Signal, an AI native RSS reader that generates a daily digest of what actually matters, lets you search everything you've read by meaning (not keyword), and discovers new feeds based on your reading patterns.

Every run generates a new world, new story, new arc. ElevenLabs narrates with a unique voice. DALL-E 3 renders each new scene. 10 world themes, multiple possible endings. Built with OpenClaw.

Built a text adventure where GPT-4o acts as a live narrator, reading every move you make, writing your next scene, updating the world state in real time. Always adapting to the player.

Two weeks of building with OpenClaw = enough local servers that I needed a dashboard. So I built one a Mac menu bar app that shows every server's status and lets me launch any of them with one click. Tools that solve their own problems.

@cmace30 The NFL works because the best teams meet when the stakes are highest. Championship rounds are where legacies are made, Brady vs Manning, Mahomes vs Allen, games that define eras. Imagine Dallas vs Colorado last year as a WCF: Rantanen knocking out his former team reach the Cup

Debate topic: If the playoffs were to start today, the 2nd & 3rd best teams in the NHL would play in the first round. By the end of the second round two of the top three teams in the entire NHL will be eliminated from the playoffs! Dallas and/or Minnesota are better off dropping down to the first wild card spot than finishing higher in the standings. How is this good for the league? It punishes excellence, kills potential blockbuster matchups in later rounds, and undermines the entire 82-game (soon 84-game) regular season grind. Teams battle all year to earn the highest possible seed and the advantages that come with it, only for the format to throw that merit out the window. Division rivalries, less travel, it changes every year. Yes, those factors exist. But they don’t justify a system where the best teams knock each other out early while lesser seeds move on. The fair, logical fix: Go back to true conference seeding 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. Reward the regular season. Protect the top teams. Deliver better, more meaningful hockey throughout the playoffs. It’s mind blowing to me that more GM’s aren’t more vocal for this change. Thoughts??? I’ll hang up and listen ✌️

The Bo Nix discourse is broken. In 33 starts he’s at 7,565 pass yards, 54 pass TD, 23 INT plus 737 rush yards, 9 rush TD. Denver is 13-3 this year. Yet social media calls him “mid” That’s not analysis. That’s engagement farming. #BroncosCountry #nfl

I don’t understand modern NFL players why didn’t Evans turn in field instead of running out of bounds? #Broncos

I took a screenshot from an old Bronco football game from the early 2000s into Gemini and had it upsample the resolution. This is the output from that.

@713SportsTalk Looking at the delta between these stats matters because it shows the size of the gaps, not just who’s ranked higher. The bigger the delta, the bigger the impact on real situations like red-zone defense, sacks, and 3rd downs.

@713SportsTalk Adding the delta gap in every category each defense leads. Denver total 46.4 (red-zone TD rate, sacks, 3rd-down %, success rate, yards/play). Houston totals 12.4 (points allowed, yards allowed, EPA, takeaways, red-zone trips). Delta shows Denver with the stronger situational edge

This Texans vs. Broncos debate for Best Defense is interesting.. but, let's not get silly. The "Sack numbers" crowd will tell you the Denver has the #1 defense in the NFL. But, every other visual, statistical, and historical metric will tell you that Houston is that and it's not even close. Defensive metrics: Total Defense: Houston #1, Denver #3 Pass D: Houston #3, Denver #5 Rush D: Denver #3, Houston #4 Scoring: Houston #1, Denver #3 Opp QB Passer rating: Houston #1, Denver #4 Sacks: Denver #1, Houston #3 Opp Pass TD's: Denver T-#1, Houston T-#2 TO Differential: Houston #2 (+10), Denver #19 (-3) In a sports landscape dominated by offense, both teams should be celebrated instead of argued over. But, if we're having the conversation, it's Houston all day. 🤘🤘 #HTownMade
