It sometimes feels like others don’t even realize kids exist. The other day I was in Costco with my son and a man was talking on the phone using tons of profanity. All for free speech, but where is the situational awareness? Becoming a parent adjusts your perspective and priorities.

@JillCo World views shift dramatically when people have children. Those who don’t have kids cannot understand.

Today I went to a chic coffee shop with my 3 children (I'm a latte addict personally). I walked in - and not even one person had a child and everyone was staring at us. I could sense the annoyance around us when my baby starting whimpering to come out of his stroller and my 4 year old was laughing just a little too loud. It wasn't imagined either - I could feel the negative energy around me. I'm noticing a lot of spaces are becoming very anti-child. It's not just restaurants at dinner any longer. It's everywhere - grocery stores, libraries, swimming pools, etc. because so many people don't have kids and don't want them (*ancestor cry*). It's like the presence of a baby or child is very off-putting for the childless - simply out of their own contempt. A society that hates children is a society with no future at all. It's a dead zone with soulless people only existing.

@GrowthAllTheWay @AnthonyGaenzle Important to look at the bigger picture. There are day to day nuances that can impact the short term. Look at the overall trends to start really understanding what’s going on.

@AnthonyGaenzle Progress often hides in short-term views. Step back, zoom out, and the upward trend becomes clear, growth takes perspective.

Growth can feel painful if you look too closely. The two images attached show my X engagement stats for a four-week period vs. a three-month period. If I focused only on the four-week period, it would be easy to get frustrated. Looks about the same across the board, right? Flip that, and look at the three-month period, and you can see the stats are clearly trending up. Don't get frustrated if things feel slow. Sometimes, all you need is a wider perspective to see the full picture.

@AnthonyGaenzle Great reminder. Went on a family vacation this week, so naturally X took a backseat. Numbers tanked and could easily be discouraging. (Honestly, it was a bit.) But… have to look at the bigger picture and start connecting again. Get back to that forward momentum.

@Medalion2889 @Stealth40k Although Nintendo will always primarily be about their own IP, it's great that the Switch 2 is getting better AAA third-party support!

@Stealth40k I remember around the first month of launch, they were trying to say third party games weren't selling that well on Switch 2... suggesting even Cyberpunk, so this is an interesting turnaround

@Stealth40k Great news for both CD Projekt and Nintendo. As great as the Switch is, it just couldn't handle all the third-party AAA games and wasn't as well supported by those developers. The Switch 2 seems off to a much better start in that regard.

@TolkienWorldG I welcome any way to dive back into Middle Earth that matches the Peter Jackson styling. Can't wait for The Hunt for Gollum!

Were we too harsh on the Hobbit Trilogy?

Awesome seeing this all unfold. It's going to difficult for other companies to compete with Tesla when you consider all the different areas they are innovating in. Really excited about Optimus. With the roadmap laid out, hopefully the chips in Optimus will be upgradable once the AI6 comes out to replace the AI5.

The weather at Disneyland may have been in the 90s ☀️ The crowds may have been crazy 😐 But this moment was worth all of that. Him falling asleep in my arms, walking back to the hotel. He hasn’t done that in a long time. Just when you think something may not happen again and that “last moment” is behind you, an unexpected surprise happens. Capture that moment. Made sure to take a photo so I could remember this.

@Mtshub Consistency and the willingness to adapt is key. Recognize when something doesn’t work and make the changes needed.

Follow the plan perfectly, and the outcomes take care of themselves over time
