Thoughts: 1) has anyone ever changed their political allegiance based on an A5 flyer ? 2) If this amount of paper is being printed, transported, posted and binned / recycled by nigh on every household in the country every day for a month then that is an obscene waste of energy.

@TheDaveParry @BrokenBennett My theory is schooners at c.3/4 pint are perfect for warmer climates. As it’s still cold by the time you get to the end of it. Same concept for fizzy beer - guess pints were for traditionally flat ales where temp or fizzy didn’t matter!

@BrokenBennett @Tom_Coulthard I used to work with an alcoholic guy who always drunk halves when he was “proper” drinking, his theory being that you buy the next drink when you have ~2” left in the glass regardless of glass capacity hence he drunk at a faster rate when ordering halves. #ProTips
