Last week Year 2 were in India and tasted different Indian food. This week we are in Italy.... so that means pizza making!

After studying Coming to England in Spring Term, Y6 were very excited to join a live session with @FloellaBenjamin this morning to hear her speak about her life. Thank you to Mrs Peckham and @ChepstowBooks who have helped organise this event for pupils

Y3 are very excited to listen to Baroness Floella Benjamin talking about her book Coming to England via Zoom this morning

This morning we gave a live walkthrough video tour of our school to our new partner school in Lahore, Pakistan. We look forward to links in the near future between various classes at The Dell and Garrisson Academy

Year 2 have had a great week learning about Native Americans and doing some lovely art work linked to our core text.

It was great to start the morning with a meeting with colleagues in Lahore, Pakistan about establishing a new international partnership with the Garrison Academy. More opportunities for authentic learning...learning in real life contexts.

Year 6 are participating in shared writing to compose an email to a school in Belarus.

Y6 are using their LLC and ICT skills and working collaboratively on the same document in groups, to create a presentation promoting Trinidad as a place to visit, as part of our Culture Clash topic

After going round the world this morning Reception stopped off in China for some egg fried rice & a discussion about hygiene & cooking.
