@mrbansteacher @tiffany_peltier @Eduventuring04 @ehanford Then let’s push for PD. Without it, nothing works. We ran a scale up last year with 80 schools and found no differences in ELA outcomes according to curriculum used (Wonders, EL etc) but the amount of PD provided mattered. PD in effective practices is the bigger lever

Orchard Elementary K teachers visit every students home before school starts and provide them with Home Learning Kits - This has come in very handy for COVID Ed. Love our teachers, they always go above and beyond for their students. #homeschoolengagement

We teach students about boundaries, but few boundaries are given to teachers.Teachers can’t be expected to be available 24/7 for meetings, calls, emails etc. even if they’re teaching remotely. This type of expectations shows a lack of concern for their mental & emotional health.

Having kids in person right now is really hard....and so darn worth it. Mask up and keep rolling!!! Don’t believe me? Watch a kindergarten student run into the building in the morning smiling under a tiny mask 👍👍

@maggieskinder I am so excited! Thank you so much! Tonight’s chat was fun!
