Maci 💋 My POV March 20, 2026 Around Miami Spring is here. I’m officially declaring winter over. Kristin, my old college roommate, gets in a few hours. I’m a little too excited about that. We have way too many memories together… which probably means this is about to get interesting. She’s a little like Ana, with a splash of Ava. There’s something about being around someone who knew you back then. I was a little wilder in those years…. Around them, you don’t have to explain yourself. You just show up and pick right back up where you left off. Also, my whole family is coming out to visit on the 7th. Kristin hasn’t met all of them yet, so this should be fun. But for now, I think today is going to be one of those days you don’t plan too much. Those tend to be the best ones. Maci 💋 Confession… I opened TikTok for about five minutes today (I don’t even have an account), and now I feel like I need a reset 😄 It’s interesting how much of what you see is… curated. The angles, the settings, the “lifestyle.” Some of it feels more like a set than real life. I just don’t know how long I could pretend to live a life that wasn’t actually mine. Maybe that’s the difference. Thoughts?

Maci 💋 My POV March 16 Miami We made it to Miami. Ava has already decided we’re not sleeping much the next couple nights… which feels about right. St. Mary won’t be ready until Thursday, so we have a little time before we disappear out onto the ocean for a while. Which means tonight… we go out. I told Edgar I want one proper Miami night. Music, dancing, and a room full of people who have no idea who we are. Ava fully supports this plan. Probably a little too much. My college friend Kristin is joining us on the 20th. She just got out of a long relationship and needs somewhere to reset for a bit. There’s a little history there too. Back in school she had a thing for Edgar. Nothing serious, just one of those college crushes we all laughed about. Things are different now. She knows he’s completely hands off… it doesn’t bother me. I shared once… that part of life is over. I trust Edgar. And I believe I can trust Kristin. Anyway… we have a couple nights on land left. Then we step onto St. Mary… and life gets a little quieter. Maci 💋 My POV March 18 Miami Today’s the day.... She’s ready. Edgar says they’re already bringing St. Mary down, and we board soon. Which feels… a little surreal. Ava, naturally, has a plan. She wants us to float by South Beach, blow the horns, and wave at everyone like we’re in a parade. Silly girl. Edgar is already talking about his new office and the updated medical suite like he’s been waiting his whole life for this. I give him an hour before he’s working. As for me…. Maci 💋 My POV March 19, 2026 Somewhere at sea I love St. Mary. I slept better last night than I have in a while. Something about the gentle rocking… it helps. …that, and maybe Edgar. When she’s in silent mode, it doesn’t even feel like you’re moving. Just gliding. It’s quiet in a way that’s hard to explain. Like the world got turned down a few notches. Tomorrow Kristin gets here. Ava is going to love her. I can already tell. Edgar told her she gets to pick our next destination… which feels slightly dangerous. We’ll see where we end up. The kind of catching up you don’t realize you’ve been missing until it happens. She really needed a friend… and I think I did too. More on this... maybe. She’s off talking with Edgar now. Jensen Huang just called out every CEO who’s been firing people “because of AI.” Jim Cramer asked him why companies are laying people off if AI is supposed to make everyone MORE productive. Jensen's answer: "For companies with imagination, you will do more with more. For companies where the leadership is just out of ideas, they have nothing else to do. They have no reason to imagine greater than they are. When they have more capability, they don't do more." Read that again. The man who built the most important tech company on Earth just told you that if your CEO is using AI to cut headcount, it means one thing: They have no imagination. They have no vision for what comes next. They got handed the most powerful tool in human history and their FIRST instinct was to fire people. This is the CEO of NVIDIA. The company whose chips power every AI system on the planet. If anyone on Earth has the right to say "AI replaces workers," it's Jensen Huang. And he said the OPPOSITE. He said every carpenter could become an architect. Every plumber could become an architect. AI elevates capability. It doesn't eliminate it. But here's where it gets really interesting... During the same interview, Jensen revealed something nobody's talking about: He said AI startups like OpenAI and Anthropic are seeing their revenues increase by one to two billion dollars a WEEK. And he wishes these companies were public so the world could see what he sees. One to two billion per week. That's a $50 to $100 BILLION annualized run rate. For companies that most people think are burning cash and making nothing. The entire Wall Street narrative that "AI companies aren't profitable" might be completely wrong. Jensen sees their numbers. He sees their compute orders. He sees their growth. And he's saying the revenue is real. So if the money IS real, why are other companies firing people? Because they're not building AI products. They're not creating new revenue streams. They're not using AI to expand into new markets. They're using AI as an EXCUSE to cut costs because they ran out of ideas 3 years ago and need something to tell the board. Jensen's company added $500 billion in new orders in 5 months. He expects $1 trillion in cumulative revenue through 2027 from just two product lines. That number doesn't include the new chips, systems, or partnerships announced this week. And he's not cutting people. He's hiring. Because when you have imagination, more capability means MORE opportunity. Not less headcount. Meanwhile Salesforce cut thousands. Meta cut thousands. Amazon cut thousands. All blaming "AI efficiency." Jensen's response: You're out of imagination. He also said something that stuck with me. Cramer asked if he ever thought he'd build a $10 to $20 trillion company while waiting tables at Denny's. His answer: "I was just trying to make it through the shift." Biggest tip he ever got? Two, three dollars. Now he's building tech that increased computing demand by one million times in two years. He announced OpenClaw, which he says is as big as ChatGPT. And he's got 21 months of new business that isn't even counted in the trillion dollar figure yet. When asked how long he plans to keep working? "I'm hoping to die on the job. And I'm not hoping to die anytime soon." This is a man who believes every single thing he's building. And his message to every CEO using AI to justify layoffs is simple... You're not innovating. You're surrendering. The technology wasn't built to shrink companies. It was built to make them limitless. If your leadership can't see that, the problem isn't AI. It's THEM.

At least our clothes finally caught up with us. The Collins staff were kind enough to put everything on the jet and send it ahead. Traveling with this group tends to move faster than luggage. Normally I prefer to pack my own underthings. A girl likes to know exactly what she brought with her. Nevertheless… my clothes are here, which means the adventure continues. So far the city feels completely different from Rome or Florence. Louder. Faster. The streets feel alive here. Anyway… it’s 12:45am, and I should probably get some sleep. Maci 💋 My POV March 17 Miami I woke up to coffee this morning. Not room service… Edgar. He's a keeper. Last night was exactly great. Music, a little dancing, a little crazy… Ava did her part to make sure it wasn’t too calm. I’m still not entirely sure how she has that much energy. Ava wants to see what Spring Break is all about today... Pray for us. Tomorrow we start moving toward St. Mary. For now though… I’m staying in bed a little longer.
