My constituent, Betty Brown, who turned 91 yesterday, is amongst the oldest victims of the #HorizonScandal She was one of the 555 subpostmasters who took on the #PostOfficeScandal in the original case When at first met Betty and her family a few months after I was elected, they were still fighting to get any form of basic compensation and there was no public inquiry Substantial interim payments have now been made and the public inquiry is underway with further compensation combining and exoneration for those who were wrongly convicted Betty’s husband, Oswall, died of cancer during the ordeal I’m grateful to the @TheSun for interviewing her and reporting her story today >>> thesun.co.uk/news/25351343/… @ScarletHowes
