It remains the best way to cut through the massive amount of noise we're faced with online
I still see its place, but I think it may look different, less learning, more community-based & experiential

I regularly hear people at accounting conferences see speaker lists and say:
"Where's the next generation of thought leadership going to come from?"
It's already happening on social media, and algorithms are arguably a better meritocracy than a conference selection committee

@mountainwesttax Old warehouses converted to lofts often have leftover garage doors as patio openings or windows, but in a new build the vibe isn’t coming through

@BlakeTOliver So we need more accountants… and the journey from enrolment to becoming a proficient accountant is a big time and financial sink… then there’s the headwinds of news about AI making accountants obsolete, long hours, poor corporate culture…yikes

Lastly, don't underestimate the value of enjoyable client relationships. Identify what makes your favorite clients a pleasure to work with and seek out more like them. Good relationships can boost morale, productivity and reduce burnout.
