@nyaskiez VLC can re-enter this conversation when it updates to an ffmpeg version that's even close to current, which they refuse to do until VLC 4 releases, which they aren't really rushing to do. MPV all day. (Honorable mention to PotPlayer and MPC-HC for the Windows folks)

@Comet_7979 @nyaskiez VLC has bugs that are nearly 2 decades old. It is so stale you might start to wonder if the devs were inspired by Debian.

@nyaskiez I use 7zip and MPV player but there's nothing wrong with WinRAR and VLC It's utorrent that sucks. Qbit is definitely a better, more secure alternative.
