@PSOEfilo @lemurian_star9 @AngloVarangian And, of course, there is zero possibility that enemy communications can be broken into and used to send false messages. Wait-hang on. The separatists just raided Coruscant, and managed to get all the way to the Chancellor. What else did they compromise?

This shows how the original clone wars writing in the early to mid 2000s was way better than Dave Filoni's version.

@LookAtMyMeat1 "Hey I know we are in the middle of a heavy battle but let's kill our commanding officer for suspected treason without due process and based on one command" sounds kinda dumb from a tactical standpoint point

The chip change actually removes the underlying horror of Order 66 by removing the active decision 99% of clones made to follow the order There's no internal conflict, no horror in the fact these men are just as soulless as the droids, and no agency. Nope it was all "le evil brain chip" The worst fucking change and proof that Filoni is a hack that needs handlers to tell him when an idea is fucking retarded

@manthie_me64512 @SusieM414141 The advantage is for places like sports stadia where the slow part of the bar is usually poring the beer. More beer throughput = more profit.

@SusieM414141 Special cups are needed with this beer dispenser. There is less waste in overpours and just enough added aeration for a perfect head of foam. The drawback is the expense of the specialized cups. Not sure the savings from overpour aren’t eaten up in cup costs.

@ZENIgedo @Birdy_momon88 @suchi5245644 @gaha_m_a So religiously neutral that it is zeroed on a date that was calculated to be the second most important date in a single religion. (Yes, they probably did get the date wrong, but they were basing it on the evidence they had then)

@ISFriendsHour @DrSasshole To be fair, a plan should have been put in place to deal with that problem before it broke, rather than after. *That* is the part that needs to be dealt with (although I suspect that’s just general bureaucratic thinking along the lines of “well it’s still working now”)

@limpthickness @Authw8 @HowHiEasterman To be fair—the thermal clips had been around for at least 10 years. That’s the explanation for finding them on 2175 Aeia, when the only things there are a ship and crew that crashed 10 years ago. Right? *Right!?*

@MeToobirdy @TomShaw68 @Ruth_E_Hill It’s a very easy one to spin money from. Dealers make money from providing servicing and *most* consumables they charge more than the actual cost for. Wipers are dirt cheap, and don’t take very long to install, so the probably *always* fail the wipers because it’s an easy sell.

@Ubaidiiiii @spinelessaisha Also, the ludicrous accuracy of the muskets in game is frustrating. Muskets were not a precision weapon, so why do enemies get pin point accurate fire? (IMO, getting a rifle should be an upgrade for Arno)

so assassins' creed unity has you "parry" attacks, with a timing window where if you hit hte button at the right time you perform a "perfect parry" but they also have some attacks that can't be parried whatsoever and have to be "dodged" instead... this all sounds a bit familiar

@dillzilla11 @uncledoomer @Xasheats This—hard accelerating and braking wears out the tyres. The reason EVs got the reputation for wearing out tyres is because most of them are very easy to drive aggressively. Also, eco tyres are often fitted which means they wear out sooner because they have a shorter tread depth.

@uncledoomer @Xasheats Imagine telling EV owners how their EV goes through tires faster as if they don't know how long their own tires last. Generally whether a car is an EV or not has fuck all to do about how fast tires wear out. It's mostly how you drive.

@JonBlakehoob @seamus_coughlin It’s one front in the seven years war. Yes, by the nature of warfare at the time they were effectively fought separately, and yes, the F&I started earlier, but it was essentially the opening salvo of a larger war. It only makes sense to count separately if you’re North American.

@TheMindProbe2 @Duwang_chew The Tsuranga Conundrum perfectly demonstrates why Doctor Who twice before dropped the three companion model: too often there’s not actually enough for everyone to do. In this case, it resulted in Graham and Ryan playing midwife to aliens who should have died out generations ago.

@Duwang_chew See with something like Fear Her, you've still got 10 and Rose in character, doing their regular thing, and that's enough to keep me hooked. While an episode like The Tsuranga Conundrum genuinely has nothing of merit going on

Every Tennant episode is better than *almost* every Whitaker imo. There really aren't any "dog shit" ones, and the only Jodie episode that really contends is Villa Diodati. The standard for writing was just a lot higher back then.

@alessiobruni @andyhelbig Mid-90s MD, the dozen or so houses I went to (mostly quite large by European standards) all had the washing machine and dryer in a cupboard off a corridor. Even those with massive basements (side note: the basement foundation is fantastic and should be used in more places)

The tedious “europoor” electric dryer (US) v drying rack (EU) debate is directly tied to clothing and style preferences Europeans prefer natural materials like wool, linen, cotton — fabrics you should dry on the rack, otherwise they don’t nearly last as long Americans prefers athleisure polyester materials — you can just chuck your lululemon khakis in the dryer, no harm done Nothing europoor about this one — just materials / style preferences influencing behavior
eigenrobot@eigenrobot

even if you don't "have" to, hang dry your clothes because they will last 10-20x longer. thank you for your attention to this matter!

@mrsarcasticass1 @NoGlasses420 @the_ason @KaptinYap If NY is really smart, they’ll lay on a *lot* of shuttle busses between NY and Meadowlands m—for precisely the same reason. Especially since NJT is going to charge an arm and a leg for the train. (Ideally they’d have a ferry free with a game ticket to get to Hoboken RS too)

@mrsarcasticass1 @NoGlasses420 @the_ason @KaptinYap The trick is the metro runs additional trains to help clear the people out. A 100% for profit railway should see this as a good thing because it get people on their railway. NJ should be trying to get more people onto the train to get them back into Hoboken to keep spending.
