How is that not talked about enough, Salah sprinting back to LIV box defending a counter attack, try blocking Gordon shot without blocking Alisson sight of the ball (VVD did the exact opposite in Sancho’s goal) man deserves all the credit even if we expect more #FPL #FPLCommunity

Guess I’m not the only one with some horrible bench dilemmas this week… Genuinely could bench any 2 of maybe 7 players at this point! You know it’s tough when I’ve even debated benching Semenyo. Likely asking for trouble with that one though 😆

Here's a table that shows the most likely DEFENCE for all 6 teams who DOUBLE in GW33 and my verdict on how good I think they are as picks 🎯 Factoring in their upside and likeliness to start twice ‼️ Happy to answer any questions! 😁 *Wieffer is listed as a midfielder in FPL

DGW26 triple captain locked🔒 As for the man who's about to play with five DEFCON mids next season, I'm really not taking enough risks.

As some of you may know, I like predicting attacking returns from defenders, so it's pretty interesting to figure out whether Gabriel, who is definitely the most popular TC option this week, is actually able to score. Talking about Arsenal's set-piece routines is close to meaningless because they are extremely variable this season. That's something what we need to see with our own eyes, but even the data of top receivers confirms there's no clear trend. Timber has been targeted 11 times, Calafiori 9 times, and Gabriel the same. In DGW26 they play Brentford and Wolves, the 4th worst team in terms of xG conceded from set pieces and the 4th best one. Important to mention that for Wolves that number is even better with Ladislav Krejci on the pitch. Although his role and his game in general became worse, it's worth pointing out that with him fit for this match, you'd expect Wolves to defend set pieces a bit better. Both of these teams are making a lot of defensive touches in the set-pieces phase, so even when they aren't allowing many direct chances, the opponent is still putting them under pressure and getting the ball into their box repeatedly. They win the first contact but lose the second. It signals scrappy, reactive defending, and the eye test confirms that the most dangerous chances are coming from the later phases of corners, free kicks, or long throws. You'd probably ask who is most likely to score from set pieces if the most dangerous chances are coming from rebounds. If the box is crowded, it could literally be anyone. Partially correct, but we can still make a calculated prediction. Brentford lose control of set pieces in situations where players are using their lower bodies to clear the ball. Ironically, their headed clearance situations are the best in the league. Accordingly, the worst chances after rebounds occur closer to the edge of the penalty area than to the goalkeeper, and these are usually situations where the ball is flying on a low trajectory. With Wolves, the whole situation is much more chaotic. Speaking about DEFCONs, for central players it's pretty hard to hit them against teams that give you the ball but also position themselves really wide. Gabriel's average defensive contributions: 6 per 90 minutes against Wolves, and 8 per 90 minutes against Brentford. By the way, the situation is even worse for Rice, so DEFCONs would practically be a miracle here. Clean sheets are a safe bet, but Edwards is embracing his inner Nuno Espírito Santo, starting to experiment with a very lightweight attacking lineup in a desperate attempt to improve their goalscoring situation. My prediction would be a clean sheet against Brentford and one goal conceded against Wolves (around 12 points total) #FPL

@TheFPLCityzen There is a slight chance it's Tarkowski dropped, but I think it's mostly fan opinions propping Keane's performances, once I see Branthwaite and Tarkowski start he'll be green again

Biggest skill is holding onto an in form player after 3-4 blanks ✅ 1. You would be up 9 points if you didn't sell Thiago for Bowen after GW17, Thiago is yet to play 2. You would be up 17 points if you didn't sell Thiago for Ekitike after GW17, Thiago is yet to play and ekitike might not even play
