@AaronWere1994@xgigglypuff I disagree, there have been many excellent studies done on food safety from pasteurization and the lack of difference it makes to Milk in general. Px treated milk still had those same attributes and, again, there are no beneficial enzymes in milk that will magically help with..
Ok I’m saying it. Cancel me.
Purchasing and drinking raw milk is genuinely stupid.
There are no scientifically-proven health benefits. You are paying more money for something that puts you at higher risk for dangerous bacteria. I do not respect your opinion.
@lootsakks@lovennft Sadly not true. Milk doesn't contain magic enzymes that break down lactose. Milk doesn't contain natural lactase because if it did then it wouldn't contain lactose at all. Your body is made to digest down to amino acid level, 'super fine screens' won't make a difference.
@lovennft I mean no one should be drinking pasteurized and homogenized milk. Raw milk has enzymes that help your body brake down lactose. Heating it kills those enzymes. Then they push the milk through super fine screens. Our body's aren't made to digest milk particles that that small.
@MindMentalModel@meghaverma_art Nope sorry, milk doesn't have endogenous lactase, that's a myth. If it had lactase in it naturally then it wouldn't contain lactose at all.
@meghaverma_art Raw milk has lactase, which breaks down lactose. Pasteurized milk lacks said enzyme. Lactose-intolerant people who think they “can’t drink milk” ought to start drinking raw milk instead of the heated concoctions sold in commercial supermarkets
Most people I know do not digest dairy well. They get all kinds of issues. I have always digested dairy perfectly, and I believe it’s because my grandma gave me raw cow milk with cream until I was 6 years old. I think this bacteria is crucial to set up little childrens digestion
@bbeach12345@xgigglypuff Ah, nope. In fact it's easier to make dairy products with pasteurized and standardized milk because then you have a consistent product going through your plant. Pasteurization also removes other microflora that will compete in your cultured products.
