I’m really, really sick of the “Doom kinda arrives outta nowhere” talking point when this is literally the case for almost every single villain in the history of films…many of the greatest villains of All-Time didn’t get multiple films w/ buildup before one giant film…they got their one movie, stole the show, and that was it…we didn’t see Heath Ledger in 5 Batman films before The Dark Knight or Vader in 3 Star Wars movies before A New Hope

My biggest issue with the Avengers Doomsday trailer is that it doesn’t feel nearly as massive as it should.
Infinity War had incredible buildup , higher stakes and a score that instantly gives you goosebumps. With Doom , it feels different because Thanos was being built up for years, while Doom kinda arrived out of nowhere.

1 of Fallout 4's only major Ws is how tanky power armor is. Just cut the fusion core crap, put back the training perk, and allow us to put the armor in our inventory, and it's perfect.

People still don’t get it.
Bethesda’s object permanence is what makes their worlds feel alive and reactive. You can drop items anywhere, build crazy cheese wheel shrines, leave the world in whatever chaotic state you want… and it stays that way.
No other game (Cyberpunk included) has fully captured that level of true persistence without compromises.
Loading screens exist for a real technical reason here .. they let the game actually remember your impact on the world.
I’d rather quick loads than losing that immersion any day. The trade-off is worth it.
