Demon Slayer movie was good. Really pretty. And I appreciate that they took time to flesh out the demon characters. I dont really understand the insane praise it got though. It didn't feel like a movie. It felt like a supercut of several episodes. Would've rather had a season.

@JoelJ_Garcia Arguing that console and PC are the same in this respect is just being willfully ignorant. Drm-free games, abandonware, emulation, multiple storefront ecosystem. Not to mention I can make physical backups of my digital games. Steam is far from my only option.

T’Challa gets ONE fighting game appearance ever and the Tokon devs said that’s enough of the repeats. But let a Marvel vs Capcom mainstay come their way and they’ll put them in the roster in a nano second. All I can do is laugh. Anything else will make me sad

@TheInquisitor76 @Pagan_GMR Eris and Roxy are terrible too. Best character is Sylphie except that she's a doormat. All I ever hear is how Rudy is "becoming a better person". Sure, in some ways. Why does it stop before his perversions? Those are not only not being corrected, they're outright celebrated.

Anyone who calls Mushoku Tensei a “grooming-based story” clearly never watched the actual show. Kotaku got the ages wrong, twisted the context, and clearly copy-pasted half their “research” from Reddit outrage threads. Do not get your information from Reddit. I’m so tired of tourists in the anime space craping on almost every series that doesn’t pass their purity test. Tell me you’re a tourist without telling me you’re a tourist. This series is about a deeply broken man getting a second chance and painfully learning how to become a better person. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and honest... something these people will never understand. Articles like this just prove what they are: parasites who infest every fandom just to lecture and destroy. Get out of our space. You’re not welcome here.

If he just said SOMETHING about how he doesn't feel attraction towards the inappropriate age groups. Even commenting on how that's odd and he wasn't expecting that. It would be reasonable enough. @TokonFighters Can't get 60 fps on PC. It's maxing out my CPU. I can run GGStrive just fine. I won't buy it on PS. Can we get some PC optimization?

Marvel Tokon might possibly be the worst PC port of a game in recent history Genuinely embarrassing stuff from ArcSys.

@RedExceed46s @JustSlaythe Tokon uses about 75-80% of my total CPU. Of that 75% those PSN sub processes seem to use like .8% at any given time. Still dumb but its hardly the main issue.

Regarding Tokon on PC, if you wonder why some people are struggling despite recommended specs, it will hammer a single cpu thread because of anti cheats and ps5 architecture. There's also 5 sony sub services running at all times with the game (???). This isn't the GPU lagging.

@GoghostBD Brave Heart is so good. I want to do some edits because I feel like it could elevate almost any big fight scene with a power boost/transformation. Throw this song into a SSJ4 fight or something.

@AI_EmeraldApple I dont hate it. But MT COULD have been a show where he grows to be better. Where he abandons his teacher crush for loyalty to his wife, where Eris missed her shot, where the supposedly twice now grown man ditches the damned panty shrine and devotes himself to his wife. Its not

They hate Mushoku Tensei because so many of the tourist weebs found out how much of a perv the MC in the show is. From day 1 in the new isekai world, Rudeus is a pervert acting on his urges. The flaw in his character is the point of the show. His real life before he died was a 34-year-old loser, depressed NEET. He gets a second chance but doesn't suddenly become the "hero" in the new world. His complex, flawed behavior is just the extension of his "failure" as a person... A lot of consequences, regret, slow growth, some redemption, family building, etc. It's completely different than the usual bland isekai power fantasy heroes who become perfect all of a sudden. The haters get caught up in applying a modern real-world moral framing onto a fictional story about a shitty person. Then, of course, articles that call the show's MC a "groomer in a kid's body" don't help. Just a typical case of more tourists moralizing fiction. Just because the author writes a flawed character doesn't mean he endorses those actions... obviously.

@Sonic10415 Give it time. The Stockholm syndrome will set in and it'll be your favorite in the Trilogy before too long. Definitely not speaking from personal experience or anything.

The hatred against this anime feels very forced and targeted lately. With that recent Kotaku article and this. People do not like MT being successful. It shatters their worldview of anime needing to be confirmed "Safe" and "Sanitized" nowadays

@TrevorAllenMD While the Noah stuff was good and the Deck master concept a fun idea, the arc is unfortunately weighted down by the big 5. Aka old dudes that nobody gave two F's about. Aside from the one who duels Kaiba, all of them suck and feel like a complete waste of time.
