Putin: “Dear soldiers and officers … the country looks at you and is proud of you! WORK, BROTHERS!” -> “Work, brothers” is a chant in Russia in support of the army, symbolizing backing for the troops and the call to fight on. Here “work” means fight but symbolizes that the fight is a necessary job. It’s kinda wild that Putin used this slogan! Big symbolism.

Most Western journalists and analysts will not understand the gravity of President Putin’s short address to the Russian military at the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum. Or why Putin was visibly shaken afterwards. This was not a simple catchphrase. His last words honored Russian troops of the special military operation. But significantly, Putin’s words borrowed from a Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously awarded) who defied captors recording his final moments near the village of Sergokala in the Republic of Dagestan. These words will likely resonate. Russians know the phrase well - Работаете Братья! (work brothers!) - of the defiant Police Lieutenant Magomed Nurbagandov, before his execution by armed militants. The phrase is considered more of a command to destroy the enemy. This was also Putin’s response to Zelensky’s letter.

The same people that have refused to entertain the idea of peace (ref. Ukraine and Russia) and have never supported the admin’s peace talks efforts are up in arms that there is a Peace Deal on the table. A war cannot continue. Lots of people are dying on all sides. The idea of continuously funding this war with no end in sight is NOT a solution.

Yeah, the arrested staff of the UOC Chernovitsy orphanage must be FSB assets. That city, population 264,000, stood up against the Ukrainian government and defended their religion and cathedral. Zelensky’s destruction of churches must mean the structures were FSB branches too. Have to evict the Orthodox monks too, because they too must be agents. If you want to know where the smears began, you can start with Petro Poroshenko. Joe Biden, Senator Brownback, and Mike Pompeo. All of them worked towards a national church and created the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine, of which members of Zelensky’s inner circle are current members. See where this is going?

Erm…Please read DOD Instruction 5101.01 as the policy describes the functions of the DoD Executive Agent. In it, you will see that the EA authority takes precedence over component heads. That means the EA would be able to overrule these agencies’ warnings on Israeli access to critical defense technology.

It does not appear to explicitly give authority to overrule Army, Navy, Air Force, DARPA, NSA, or the U.S. chain of command.

Safi is a second-year student and painter at Birzeit University. She was detained alongside three other female students—Natalie Abu Diya, Jolan Abu Awwad, and Laila Khalil—as part of a broader overnight sweep across the West Bank that resulted in at least 31 Palestinian detentions. She is being held without formal charges. U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen has publicly condemned the arrest, noting that the Israeli government failed to inform her family or the U.S. Embassy of her location or the reasoning behind her abduction. Van Hollen and grassroots campaigns are demanding that the U.S. government secure her immediate release.
