ROC Northern Ireland launch new project at Stormont… The DI&CE (Disability Inclusion & Community Engagement) Project is a new collaborative programme delivered by Orchardville and ROC Northern Ireland. The two year project funded by PEACEPLUS Changemakers will work with community organisations and people with disabilities to educate and raise awareness about diversity in Northern Ireland. ROC will be delivering 8 workshops with Orchardville staff and participants - equipping community groups, churches and faith based groups in how to be more inclusive of those with learning disabilities, autism and neurodivergent conditions. We’re looking forward to working with Orchardville over the next two years, bringing our experience and expertise in community engagement as together we seek to empower and equip groups with the tools and better understanding of how to include those with learning disabilities into community initiatives and programmes.
