We get that Ademola Lookman is an important player for Atlético Madrid, but he's also an important player for Nigeria. It's an honour to represent your country and if the national team coach decides that he plays so we can get a good result, even in friendlies, he plays. Our FIFA ranking is the factor at stake. Players get injured at their clubs too and it affects the national team, Victor Osimhen's injuries several times at his club is one of the reasons Nigeria didn't go to the World Cup and nobody started criticizing the club.
