Hey Xbox & Game Pass gamers 👋 Would you prefer to have option, an app, like this, that allows all forms of content, such as short-form text, long-form text, short form video, long-form video, & live streams, but was exclusively for video game industry content of all kinds & rewarded positive interaction, dissuaded negative interaction (racism, sexism, etc.), but still allowed full free speech? -OR- Would you prefer to only have options like those that exist currently; a mix of everything: politics, geopolitics, science, x-rated, crypto, random stuff, & video games, while some are censored & others are, more or less, free speech platforms?

Long message to the solid ~25 to ~30 of you that engage with me consistently, whether that be through a “Like”, “Repost”, or “Reply” You know who you are 🫵🏻 You’re noticed. You’re appreciated. You’re the reason I *personally* keep putting content out, instead of solely focusing on VGT Gaming News (Okay, that’s partly true, but also, it wise for an organization’s leader to establish a personal brand for themselves, however that may look) I know my content is usually long-winded & in-depth compared to the average one-liner that goes viral here on X Or the brainrot posts saying things that are emotionally charged & offered nothing of substance, truth, or even attempt to start a productive, two-way & bi-partisan conversation on what should’ve been an otherwise meaningful topic to go over That’s not to say that I don’t have posts blow up, because I’ve had 45MM views in a year before With how inconsistent I am on a personal level, I’m quite please with that ————————————— ..even though 13M of those views came from a single post (my largest post of all time about translating a Japanese language Nintendo earnings call to (more or less) confirm the “Nintendo Switch 2” was going to use the same account that you created for the Nintendo Switch (1), & considering the only thing of value linked to this account other than your email & password, are your digital games, this confirmed the “Nintendo Switch 2” was backwards compatible with digital games, & to me, that meant Nintendo was also going to make physical games backwards compatible, because doing one and not the other would upset a lot of consumers, especially with how the audience of Nintendo products operate. Many came out to detest I didn’t know what I was talking about. Most people like or shared the post while saying something positive Either way, I was right & of course I was, as I listened to the first-hand information myself, meanwhile & was the first to report it, about six (6) minutes before IGN did, whose story was far less informative & didn’t utilize the confidence required for them to provide any of the information most of you cared about I just detailed in this paragraph 😂 ————————————— That said, I simply wanted to acknowledge you & I was even going to tag those of you I know are regulars & whom I can tell appreciate my more thought out & in-depth analysis of where the industry is & where it is headed ..however.. ..I knew I would disrespect some really cool followers of mine by forgetting to tag them because it’s hard to recall all your usernames off top, even with photographic memory 🙄 So, here’s this: Thank you & I love you for making me & my content feel like it has a place in this industry If you don’t already, please follow my much more wonderful team over at @VGTGamingNewson *ALL* social media platform, turn on notifications & please, do the same for me.
