@ILovesTheDiff Just had a flashback of reading Roald Dahl's "Boy". I'm sure there's a section in that where he talks about a sweet shop in Llandaff.

Looking for a dedicated sweet shop in Whitchurch/Llandaff – every time we see balloons and bright colours...it's a vape shop. Wonder why they're allowed to appeal to children in the same way vape packaging does.

@ATJbeer The average pub goer these days is someone who doesn’t go to the pub much. They go for a meal and leave, or to watch a sports match, leave at final whistle. They days of a pub full of regulars having drinks of an afternoon of evening are pretty much gone.

@ILovesTheDiff @Capitol_Cardiff The right turn after the prison confused me - but may have been done because they were removing the one from station terrace. But going anywhere around there at busy times (most of the time, most days) is not going to be quick

@TheGWBF @Capitol_Cardiff Yes, but you make ‘round the prison’ sound quick but of course now everyone coming from north and east is kettled into this access point. As for the right turn into Churchill Way after the bridge, that makes sense if it’s very recently changed. Hard to spot though!

This changed only last week – which admittedly is like a year ago when it comes to traffic changes in town – but it would appear that there’s now no right turn from Station Terrace into Churchill Way. (The other half had hoped ‘accept for access’ included the @Capitol_Cardiff.)

@ILovesTheDiff It’s a shame the houses by there don’t have massive driveways/front gardens. Oh hang on, they do. In fairness the parents picking up the kids had probably created just as many hazards closer to the roundabout anyway

As groups of kids left school, some were forced into the road and the path of oncoming cars and a cyclist. Watched it happen. I think it’s reasonable to suggest that parking all four wheels of your vehicle on the pavement should result in your motor being confiscated for a month.
