I understand in PVE lobbies its less of an issue, but I imagine looting and killing the same arc gets boring

Many people prefer it because it's truly portable, unlike the massive "portable" consoles available today. And you can also modding it with tons of games, emulators, homebrew, customizations...

Very smart business decisions compared to over a decade ago when it would be lowered to $150 by now and at least still got people to buy it compared to now where it’s just a waste of shelf space
