A small country with a very big voice. Once again, Israel was in the finals of #Eurovision. With 180 million viewers, it’s the most watched nonsporting event on Earth. From the 1970s to today, Israel has more Eurovision wins than France, Germany, Italy, Spain, or the United Kingdom. Watch the video to see the most inspiring performances from the last 50 years, including this year’s contestant, @NoamBettan #JewishAchievement. Brought to you by the Genesis Prize. @Dana_Inter @shirimaimon1 @nettabarzi @noakirel @edengolancf

.@Isaac_Herzog is the first Israeli President to visit Panama and will head to Costa Rica tomorrow. It’s a pivotal moment for deepening ties between Latin America and Israel. Until the start of his presidency, Herzog was Chairman of the Genesis Prize Selection Committee. In honor of 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate and Argentinian President Javier Milei (@JMilei), The Genesis Prize Foundation created American Friends of Isaac Accords to strengthen support for Israel across Latin America. President Herzog’s visits to Panama and Costa Rica are important steps in achieving this goal.

The president of Argentina was the first foreign leader invited to light the Independence Day torch and the first to sign the Isaac Accords, a global initiative championed by The Genesis Prize Foundation aimed at combating Israel‘s isolation and expanding its ties with Latin America. @JMilei

Genesis Prize Laureate Javier Milei (@JMilei) will become the first foreign leader to light a torch at Israel’s 78th Independence Day ceremony. A fitting honor for one of Israel’s clearest and most unwavering supporters. Since taking office, Milei has reversed decades of Argentine voting patterns at the United Nations, designated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hamas, and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations, and reopened investigations into the deadly 1990s terrorist attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets in Argentina. For the Genesis Prize committee, these actions mattered. The prize – often referred to as the "Jewish Nobel Prize" – recognizes individuals whose leadership reflects both professional achievement and a deep commitment to Jewish values and the Jewish people.

Tonight, Jews around the world will retell the Exodus story of a people driven from their homes, walking toward an uncertain future. But that story never stopped. Expelled by dictators, forced out by antisemitism and violence, Jewish men and women across the 20th century went on to reshape science, art, technology, and ideas. Not despite their expulsion, but because of it. Exile didn’t diminish Jewish achievement. It amplified it. Share their stories. 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘨 𝘗𝘦𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩.

Yesterday, The Genesis Prize Foundation hosted a luncheon with Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations @dannydanon and UN ambassadors and officials from Argentina, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Paraguay. Part of our initiative to strengthen Israel–Latin America ties, the gathering advanced the “Isaac Accords” (isaacaccords.org) – a brainchild of 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate Argentinian President Javier Milei (@JMilei). "We are working to transform shared values into shared action," said Ambassador Fitz Haney (@realFitzHaney). "Israel is not alone – and we are building partnerships designed to endure." Co-Founder and Chairman of The Genesis Prize Foundation Stan Polovets: "Security is not only about defense – it is about diplomatic depth and strong, values-based partnerships. In times of war, friendships matter." On Thursday President Trump nominated Kevin Warsh to serve as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. If confirmed, Warsh will be the fourth Jewish Fed chair in recent history, following in the footsteps of Alan Greenspan (1987–2006), @benbernanke (2006–2014), and Janet Yellen (2014–2018).

At The Genesis Prize Foundation, we are working to strengthen Israel–Latin America relations. In support of 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate, Argentine President @JMilei's bold vision for the Isaac Accords, we created American Friends of Isaac Accords (AFOIA). Honduras is now part of that shift. Minutes after being sworn in, new Honduran President @titoasfura chose his first official act deliberately: receiving the credentials of Israel’s ambassador, @Nadavgoren — the first ambassador he met. This choice matters. It signals direction. At a time when Israel faces growing isolation on the global stage, Honduras’s early action offers real reason for optimism — and hope that Israel–Latin America relations are entering a more constructive chapter.

Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Mnookin (@uwchancellor) on her appointment as President of @Columbia – becoming the institution’s second Jewish president in its history and the first one in over 30 years. She takes the helm of a university that was deeply embroiled in anti-Israel protests and threats against Jewish students and faculty. With Dr. Mnookin’s appointment, six of the eight Ivy League universities have Jewish presidents: @Harvard, @Princeton, @Dartmouth, @Brown, @Cornell, and now @Columbia. In addition, Jews lead @Stanford, @MIT, @JohnsHopkins, @nyuniversity, and @UCLA. Not bad for a people that represent only about 2% of the US population. Watch this clip from @PBSWI where she talks about allowing for protest on college campuses, while also having “time, place, and manner rules where you can limit it.” #Jewishachievement #GenesisPrize

The last hostage. The return of Ran Gvili’s body to Israel brings long-overdue dignity, peace, and closure to his family. While nothing can heal this loss, being able to lay Ran to rest closes a painful chapter. The Genesis Prize Foundation has stood for years with the hostages and their families. We honor Ran’s memory while reaffirming our commitment to healing for all Israelis. May his memory be a blessing.

Deni Avdija, breakout professional basketball star for the @trailblazers, is fed up with the hate he receives for being from Israel, calls out the lack of education on the topic and demands respect. Deni is having an incredible season: he leads Portland in scoring and assists and has a strong chance to appear in the @NBA All-Star game.
