Started with a 2mm, I don’t recall the brand but the insert broke around part 700 and the tool holder went with it Emergency ordered a 3mm holder off McMaster and I think the insert I used was 1478N12 I had two coolant nozzles spraying on the tip directly, one from behind the cutter and one from in front. Life span was approx 600 parts/ side @ 2k rpm .007 ipr .05 radial peck I was very pleased with the performance

@TheGoldReset Looks good!! What did you use to part off? We are swiss lathe so all of our parts <1.25" diam so we are usually using a korloy 1.5mm mgmn sharp blade with .006" corner radius on steel & stainless

First time using a broach on the lathe. Made a 7” pulley for a friends lathe. Pretty stoked with how easy it was

@JasonPremoMFG Started at .01” radial then upped it to .03”. Fed at 15ipm. Chips were cool and the Z load was very low. Probably could have run it was faster
