@IndianTechGuide It would be great to witness private sector building cutting edge space and defence technologies.
Rise of indigenous tech would reduce dependency.
It’s crucial in positioning India as global power.
English

@TheRavenLJ @stats_feed It’s our natural training which used to develop us physically and mentally got impacted by technology.
English

@TheGoodTeacheer @stats_feed I think every generation from now on will be dumber than the previous. Life is to easy now. People have to create fake problems to be upset instead of the real life problems every generation faced before.

@Keke_ngn @CuriosityonX Black holes curve spacetime sharply.
Light can move in circles around black hole.
Once it crosses Event horizon there is no path to return.
English

@TheGoodTeacheer @CuriosityonX Light can be absorbed by a black hole, because the mass of the black hole is massive, that's why they are black, because even light cannot escape their attraction.
English

Development and environment can go hand in hand.
Places directly exposed to sunlight vs shaded by trees show significant temperature difference.
Tress soak carbon dioxide emissions, keep soil intact preventing desertification.
Lesser trees-> more loose soil-> more dust in air.
Researches show that greenery reduces stress and calms mind by reducing Cortisol.
Green cover in cities is boon to citizens.

@ajeetbharti Saving trees is welcoming step.

Good initiative by Rekha Gupta
I hope this is implemented well on ground. And I hope her govt is actually able to prevent every tree from being cut.

Humari Delhi, Humari Zimmedari 🌳 Delhi’s green cover is Delhi’s lifeline and we must protect it together. If you see a tree being cut illegally, call our helpline immediately: 📞 1800-118-600 #ViksitDelhi #GoGreenDelhi

@sciencegirl Whenever humans have achieved breakthrough, there were courageous people who tried what was believed to be impossible.
English

A clap needs two hands.
Govt only can’t bring change, active participation of citizens is required.
Post cleaning is never sustainable, people must abstain from spreading garbage in first place.
Public places will only remain clean with government and public collaboration.
Cleanliness must become a priority then strong enforcement will shift incentives and automatically shape public behaviour.
English

A govt can build systems, bins, cleaners, penalties, but it cannot track millions of individual actions in real time. Cleanliness is a daily, personal act; without basic public discipline, even the best infra fails.
Take Manali. A public phone charging station was installed for tourist convenience, and within no time it turned into a dumping spot.
If citizens don’t comply at the point of action, no amount of post-cleaning can keep up. Economically, enforcement has limits: costs rise linearly, while careless behavior scales exponentially. It’s like a hospital, doctors can treat disease, but if patients doesn't care about hygiene, no system can keep them healthy.
The only guaranteed fix is danda and heavy fines. But in a democracy, issues with low electoral payoff rarely get that kind of sustained priority.

The र in गृह is pronounced as र, री and रु।
Depending where you are in India.
Devanagari prides itself in perfect pronunciation. Unlike English or French, where same alphabets or words can be pronounced differently, in Devanagari, you speak what you write.
So is this a dialect thing ? And the real and correct pronunciation should be र, correct ?
English

@TheGoodTeacheer @CuriosityonX Very good explanations here. Great conversation.

@Christhelecko @PhysInHistory Previous two in context to get 8 add 3,5.
English

@TheGoodTeacheer @PhysInHistory Adding previous number NOT previous 2 numbers.
English

The Golden Ratio (ϕ) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 1.618, often called the "divine proportion."
It appears in nature, from the spirals of sunflower seeds to the structure of galaxies, and has been used in art and architecture, including the Parthenon and Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man." ✍️

English

@CuriosityonX When traced the source of light will get wrong location if traced back in straight path.
This is because light travelled curved along spacetime fabric before reaching us.
Note: Light appears bent only when observed from outside of situation, to direct observer it’s straight.
English

@CuriosityonX Light always travels in straight line.
Massive objects (stars, planets) curve spacetime around them.
So while travelling along that curved spacetime light appears bent to distant observer.

@CuriosityonX Perseverance Mars Rover:
It has 23 cameras on board.
Mastcam-Z is main colour camera which can zoom and shoot video like sequences.
Interestingly it has confirmed ancient river delta suggesting Mars had flowing water.
It had successfully converted Carbon dioxide to Oxygen.

@theskindoctor13 Geopolitics is a complex subject.
It’s unseen heroes who negotiate and secure national interests.
Partnerships are strengthened through exchange of critical goods, technology and intelligence.
Modern conflicts demand strong and lasting partnerships.
English

Two nations. Different geographies. Same challenges. Same resolve. One bond.
From the heights of Kargil to the battlefields of modern warfare, India and Israel have learned the same truth the hard way: security isn’t given, it’s built. Built shoulder to shoulder, with intelligence, trust, and the resolve to act when it matters most.
In a world of evolving threats and uncertain allies, this partnership stands like a brother beside you, steady, reliable, and battle-tested. Forged in fire, strengthened by shared challenges, and carried forward with absolute resolve.
#IndiaIsrael : Brothers in arms. Standing always together.

@theskindoctor13 Why we take safety so casually?
It’s चलता है mindset which keeps on causing such incidents.
Buildings exist with no proper fire exit routes.
People rarely wear helmets for safety mostly they do to avoid fines.
Until mindset is fixed, change is a distant dream.
English

@vishaldeshpande @warikoo Yes. Consider opinions but take your own decision.
English

@TheGoodTeacheer @warikoo true, the advice here is basically to trust you gut

@stats_feed Mass of the Earth is around 6 X 10^24 kg
That’s roughly 1.925 X 10^24 kg of Iron earth has.
Just think about planets 10-20 times massive than Earth.
